Ratchet mechanism is difficult to switch between the locked position and right and left ratcheting as the shifter is a small black ring. The bits also sit loose in the base of the tool rather than being organised and the compartment cap is awkward to put back on due to the asymmetric clip design.Can't complain about the price though you get what you pay for.

Overall this screwdriver does what it's supposed to. My only issues is that the ratcheting mechanism is hard to turn (especially one-handed) and that the end cap's tri-lock design means that you can put it back on incorrectly. Additionally I've bumped the cap multiple times while unscrewing some particularly tough bolts which caused the cap and all the spare bits to fall out.

The ratcheting mechanism malfunctioned as soon as I tried using it to screw in a tight screw. Ever since, when tightening or loosening, the ratcheting mechanism makes a grinding noise, which I assume is the mechanism slipping. Bottom line, this driver isn't suitable even for DIY-level projects.

Same experience as review by Jonathan from Melboure. Ratchet broke straight away when trying to loosen a tight screw. Had purchased two of these and same thing happened to both. Would not recommend for anything more than hand tighten screws.
Worked fine to start with. Then the reverse ratchet broke, so when trying to unscrew something relatively tight, the ratchet just slips and you hear a grating noise. So not much use anymore. Currently looking for receipt so I can return.
Was looking for a near option for a day to day tool. After using it to unscrew the ratcheting has failed and now it doesn’t hold enough tension to unscrew all but the loosest screws.
