HANDS DOWN THE BEST LITTER IVE COME ACROSS! First off, let me say. NO TRACKING. NO DUST. CLUMPS AMAZINGLY WELL. CONTROLS ODOUR. I was completely shocked when I first discovered all of this. Do you know how often I spent cleaning my damn house due to the extreme tracking from my previous litter I was using This litter doesn't track at all, it's so hard to believe I know! There is literally no dust, another win! Clumping is just WOW! My previous litter wouldn't clump as well, and when I'd remove the weewee it would still be wet and nasty on the litter, but this one clumps into a solid rock and is so easy to remove! Best Eco Friendly Litter!

I used to use Wonderwheat litter which was great but found it got tracked out the box so often. I've tried most eco friendly litters on the market and found this by far clumps the best, tracks the least and has pretty great odour control. Is also more eco friendly than clay based litters that don't degrade in landfill. My only whinge would be - I wish they made bigger bags!

I've been using this litter for over a year and a half and I don't plan on changing! I previously tried at least 5 different litters, from paper, crystal, clay, wood pellets and other tofu brands. I found this to be the most economical and practical. I have two cats who had no trouble switching to this brand. It is easy to clean clumps easily and is flushable, which is convenient. The pellets track a little bit more than paper litter, but it's manageable with a quick vacuum or sweep. It's not dusty either.

Best litter ever
29 June 2021

Okay so first off I will say that I have ASD which means I experience smells more intensely than most people so I went on a mission to find the best litter that 1. doesn't have much of a scent on it's own, and 2. actually covers the smell of cat poop well This is by far the best I have tried, there's no dust so it doesn't track around the house, easy to scoop up and clumps well, lasts a really long time compared to others, and the litter itself doesn't have much of a scent. Does a way better job of covering the smell of poops than other natural litters like the R&C clumping corn litter (which on it's own has a strange smell compared to this). I've tried clay, crystal, recycled paper, tofu, scented litters, and so far this performs the best out of all. I've tried clay, crystal, recycled paper, tofu, scented litters, and so far this performs the best out of all. Just remember that your cat is pooping into an open box in your house so no matter what litter you use, sometimes a bomb gets dropped that gasses the place out, that's just the nature of owning a cat. This litter has the least offensive smell and does a really good job of covering the poop smell if your cat covers it. The only thing that may be annoying for some people (and this is something has happens with a lot of litters) is that when my cat does a big wee, it will form a clump on the bottom of the litter tray which is a bit wet and requires you scrape the clump off the bottom of the tray, so sometimes the wet litter will get stuck in the scoop holes. but it's easy enough to wipe with a dettol wipe. Will probably keep buying this forever

Dust free and no tracking!
15 August 2022

We used to use the Trouble and Trix clay litter with the baking soda, and loved how much it covered all the smells. But I REALLY hated how much dust it let out (my laundry would be covered in fine grey dust every few days) and it tracked everywhere. Literally found some at the other end of the house. So after a few years, I wanted to explore other options. After trying wood litter (total disaster, tracked even worse than clay, terrible at clumping) I turned to these pellets. I slowly started adding them to their clay litter. The cats didn't really like the texture at first- they gingerly would walk into their tray and just stand there. There was a lot of uncovered business happening in the beginning. But eventually they got used to it, and we only use pellets now. ... MoreWe used to use the Trouble and Trix clay litter with the baking soda, and loved how much it covered all the smells. My cats still fling them about like crazy, so there are some pellets on the floor every day, but they don't track them through the house anymore. And most happily for me, no more dust problems! They aren't quite as good in the odor control department as clay, but still live up to my fussy standard. The pellets are super noisy when being flung against the plastic side of the tray, so be warned!

Love it

When I adopted my 14 year old cat, Maurice, he came with about 14 bags of trouble & Trix crystal litter so I didn't have to buy litter for a while. I never liked the crystal as I found it so wasteful having to throw it in the bin. I wanted something more environmentally friendly. I was so excited to finally switch litters and decided to try tofu so decided to try the same brand and I LOVE THIS. clumps amazingly well, no odour, he loves digging in it and covers his poops up good. I just top up a couple of scoops at the end of the week as it gets a bit low. Less tracking too. Overall it's made my cat litter chores much easier and by far the best thing is there is no waste with this product!! I intend to compost this litter or bury it in my garden. My new go-to litter!
6 June 2021

I've finally found a litter that ticks all my boxes after trying a multitude of other brands! Clumps and covers odours well (when the cats bother to cover their poop at least), minimal dust, and pretty much non-existent tracking. I'm finding they're kicking less out of the boxes as well, perhaps due to the pellets' larger size. And best of all, it's cheaper than comparable quality litters! I see lower-rated reviews talk about the clumps being glue-like. This is true when the pee is recent and may point to a slower drying ability. But for me cleaning once a day, I find most clumps have dried hard like any other litter. Would definitely recommend!

Plastic Smell
18 January 2022

I have been buying this for nearly a year and it used to be great. It used to have a sweet vanilla fragrance, which I personally liked and the cats were fine with. However, similarly to other recent reviews, I agree that something has changed in the formula. Sadly to me it now smells like unpleasant plastic. Maybe the company was attempting a new 'scent free' formula? Or maybe this is just a bad batch? Either way, I hope the litter returns to its former glory because it used to be really pleasant to deal with (as far as cat litter goes anyway.)

So much dust
8 November 2022

Pros: Clamps really well. Cheaper than most litters. Very fine like sand beach. Cons: So much dust and tracking. I feel like I'm walking at the beach. I have been vacuuming more than once a day. My cat started sneezing now too. My air purifiers are working extra hard whenever the cats use the litter. Maybe this litter is good for an outdoor cat litter.

What happened???
23 February 2022

After trialling a number of tofu kitty litters over the last 3 years, I had established that this Trouble & Trix tofu litter was the best at locking in odours with minimal dust and tracking. The fact that it came in one relatively large bag was also a big plus. However, we have recently noticed that the litter is no longer effectively controlling odour. I would go so far to say that it's pretty disgusting. In the first week after I laid out a fresh batch of litter, the laundry smelt of rotten cat wee even though I regularly remove clumps from the litter boxes (twice, sometimes 3 times daily). It's very interesting that I've come on here to read reviews, and finding that others have reported the same issue.
