Save Your Brain With MIPS Technology Fitted with an integrated MIPS C2 (Multi-Directional Impact Protection) low-friction layer the TLD D4 COMPOSITE HELMET provides an additional protection aspect against rotational motion transferred to the brain from angled impacts to the head in the event of a crash. An EPP Collarbone impact system is another beneficial helmet attribute to guard against rider injury. This is a relief area that reduces the forces in the centre lower section of the helmet where shoulder/collarbone impacts have been known to occur. Quick Release XT2 3D Cheek Pads This world-renowned, full-face helmet is fitted with Quick-Release XT2 3D cheek pads for an anatomically optimised fit. A separately placed X-Static & XT2 precision-fit Headliner with 7 anchor points is also provided. It has anti-microbial, anti-odour properties to make the inside of the helmet a much nicer place to be and is both washable & replaceable. Drawstring Carry Bag Included For all-day comfort, the TLD D4 Composite Helmet with MIPS protection channels cooling air through a front air intake system which flows through the Polymer centre and the PowerGrid side mesh keeping your head cooler during every ride. A total of 24 total vents are strategically placed across the helmet. Ten (10) front intake ports and five (5) overhead intake vents channel air on top of your head and a further seven (7) exhaust ports at the rear improve all around air circulation. For easy transport of the helmet a microfibre carry bag with a drawstring closure that doubles as a shoulder strap is also included.
