Purchased for my 5yr old who is about 3’7” and 43lbs. Pretty typical size kid. The length on these pants are perfect, even a little room to grow but the waste is for a child WAY smaller. This is a design flaw in my opinion. Having an inflexible waste band to expand beyond an inch is standard for most youth clothing like this. The next size up pants totally swallow him. We’ll go with another brand next time. We do love the look and quality of these though.

This is the second pair of TLD Sprint pants I've bought my son for BMX racing. They are light weight and flexible enough for racing, but tough enough for falls. I have Sprint pants for me for BMX and MTB. Great job TLD!

Troy Lee's Sprint pants feel like they strike the right balance in breathability and abrasion resistance. The pants front and side-facing fabric panels are thicker and very resistant to tear and abrasion while the legs rear-facing panels are more mesh-like and breathable, which helps keeping the body cool while riding.The construction of the legs permits en easy combination of these with most brands knee+shin guards, even the thickest ones should fit quite easily, thanks to stretchable fabric at the knee. 2 zipped pockets also makes it easy to keep a phone, a multi-tool and lift-access pass accessible depending on the riding you are aiming for.Strongly recommend!

I was a little worried about the measurements that they wouldn’t fit my 5 year old but they fit perfect! I wish the waist was slightly bigger to have a little more room for growth or an adjustable band in the waist. But other than that they are perfect
My 12 year old wore these for DH, said he was very comfortable all day. Also, lifts closed for thunderstorm & he also rode some single track in very humid weather, mentioned he was still comfortable and not overly hot. Very happy with these - hopefully they last!!!
My kids love these pants. They are light in weight but great material and they fit perfect. The Velcro adjustments at the hips make for that perfect fit at the waist and the skinnier ankle help keep the pant down and away from the pedals. Would buy again but they always sell out so quickly. My kids want the red.
Have been looking for some ‘affordable’ BMX race pants for my son for ages. He keeps having growth spurts so I didn’t want to pay out loads as he’s growing out of stuff before he’s wearing it out! He’s absolutely over the moon to have some Troy Lee pants & I’m over the moon with the price - it’s a win win!
Perfect! Love that they can be adjusted in the waist. Feel so much better knowing they are properly protected on the trails! The boys did ask if they came in “brighter” colors;) Other than that 10/10!!
We love the quality, style, and visibility of these pants. They wash up very nicely- no fading or dulling so far with washing LOTS of mud out of them.That said… Measure twice then size up. We bought the 26 since the measurements indicated that as the correct size, but they fit tight to his body and hit at the top of his ankle. Arguably, they could have worked, but we returned for a 28 and are much happier. (Note: return was super easy and employees at Troy Lee are hella nice). My 11 (almost 12) year old wears a 28. He is 5’ 2” and 94 pounds. Just in case that helps someone.
The material is soooo light weight and breathable. Easy to move around . Can't go wrong with color either! The overal fit of these pants were 💯 spot on for my skinny rider! They fit perfectly and he looks sharp!
