This balm, and the sandalwood shave soap from the same manufacturer, were my second purchases made along my wet shaving journey. The scents are a little strong for my personal preference but since I shave in the evening, I don’t have to worry about it lingering during the day. I’ve since tried a few other brands of soap and balm that I prefer, both for scent and feeling but I do keep this in my rotation because the quality is good.

I have really dry skin in the winter and shaving doesn't help. I have tried a number of aftershave balms and this is one of the best. It works well, a little goes a long way and my wife enjoys the scent, although I confess that to me it smells of very little. Must only work on women!

I really like the subtle sweetness that comes through with this sandalwood scent. It's not your traditional sandalwood which is why i really like it. I use the T&H sandalwood cream and soap and both are great but the scent doesn't stay with you very long after your shave. This cologne will last you through the day with just one spray.
I bought this for my fiancé for Valentine's Day, and he loves it! It's a classic fragrance that's a safe bet as gift. This is a great product for those of us with sensitive skin. It moisturises well and the scent is subtle. I disagree with the lower rating reviews on this point - I don't want my aftershave treatment to be highly scented - I have cologne for that.
This is a great sent from Truefitt & Hill. Not to overly strong but just right. It's one of my favorites from the Truefitt & Hill line. You'll look forward to shaving by using this. Great service from Kent of Inglewood, too!!
I tried the sandlewood aftershave balm after having used the other four of these balms offered by Truefit & Hill. Grafton, West Indian Lime, Trafalgar, and 1805.They all have a most pleasant fragrance and the Sandlewood is no exception.But where the product really stands out in my view is the balm itself ( the fragrance is added in).It leaves the skin perfectly moisturized like no other balm I've used and you only need 3/4 pumps so lasts for a long long time.Well worth the price in my view.Bryan Hagel
This my favourite aftershave balm and it is soothing after I shave, it has a pleasant scent and i have received compliments about it. I can only find it at Kent of Inglewood. Thanks
