I bought two flavors of the plant-based protein - banana cinnamon and vanilla chai. Both taste ok - not horrible but definitely not like a yummy dessert either. They do have that artificial sweetener taste that I was hoping to avoid. I can tolerate that, but more annoying is that the powder doesn't dissolve when very vigorously shaken with cold water or almond milk in the Truvani blender-shaker cup. A thick layer of sludge gets left at the bottom. Maybe others have better luck with a blender. I don't own a blender so I haven't tried mixing it any other way. Great product! I began using Truvani's Protein + Greens Organic Powder to drink along with my sprouted oatmeal in the morning. I have mixed the shake with water, strawberries, wild blueberries and one-half banana. The texture and taste is great. For a more smoothie-like texture, I substitute 8oz of Malk Almond milk for the water. If you are looking for a clean organic product with low sugar and no fillers, give this product a try. If you are looking for a meal replacement you will need to consider doubling single serving recommendation.

I’ve been using organic protein powders for 20 years. For the last ten, we’ve used only Amazing Grass but they stopped making a stevia-free version so we had to look elsewhere. This powder is lightly flavored and not overwhelming. It’s slightly sweet and mixes very well (Vitamix). I find it far easier to digest than Amazing Grass but it does have less contents than the kale protein we were consuming. Lighter, simple, clean ingredients and easy on the stomach. Recommend.

I do NOT like protein powders. I'm at the point in my life that getting enough protein and eating foods with fewer ingredients is very important to me. I know it's better for my health, but I can really feel the difference too! I decided to try Truvani, and I'm so glad I did! I actually like the flavor of the protein powders. It doesn't taste like fake birthday cake extract, but instead, it tastes like natural ingredients. I think it tastes sort of like oatmeal. My only gripe is that it doesn't dissolve super well. I really have to blend it on low, let it soak for a few minutes, then blend again. Not a big deal, but it just takes longer.
Every morning I have a Truvani protein smoothie for a high protein breakfast. Just 5 healthy ingredients is very rare. I trust Truvani's sourcing, processing and consistent delivery of a great tasting protein. What's extremely important to me is that Truvani never uses protein isolates which are a less expensive approach to increasing protein in products. I developed an extreme intolerance to them after using protein powders made from them. It's common to find them in so many products now, but not with Truvani

It still has a lingering grit to it. It isn't chalky which is nice but there is a grit that is not pleasant. Also, it separates and doesn't dissolve all the way even with substantial mixing. It just isn't very good in my opinion. I feel like it probably would be fine to bake with it, but I wouldn't go adding it to drinks/soups/sauces etc. Another issue I had was with shipping & receiving the product. I signed up for a monthly subscription and I never received the first shipment. I'm fairly new to protein powders. I've started using wegovy for weight loss and need to up my protein for skin and hair. I have tried many brands from various stores that are so chalky/powdery tasting I just won't use them. I'm also trying to go more plant based for my health as well. I just saw on Instagram that Walmart was finally carrying Truvani protein powder and I immediately ordered for pickup. I only wish my Walmart had bigger bags and more flavors available. I love this brand - clean ingredients I trust, smooth texture, no weird aftertaste. And of course delicious. I love to use the vanilla in a smoothie with fresh blueberries for breakfast, starts my day out right and sets the tone for healthy. Definitely won’t use any other protein powder and am thrilled I can now purchase at Walmart.
