The Teen/Tween line has always been my favorite line since starting my period 10 years ago. These pads had such fun designs and fit my smaller body perfectly. But every single 'new look' has gotten less and less fun. I loved the stars and hearts back in the Tween packaging and even the zig-zags but now these pads have the exact same design as the Clean Wear line (which is just boring dots currently), the only difference is that the Teen line is smaller. Better than Always! NEVER LEAK!!!

For the majority of my life since getting my first period, when not wearing tampons, the only brand I ever used was always with wings. I regularly had leaks with always, especially at night! Until one day when I was out and borrowed one of these Kotex from a friend. I have literally NEVER leaked with these Kotex!!!! I can twist and turn all night on my heaviest days and it does NOT leak! I don’t know how they magically keep them from leaking, but they have succeeded! I also like that they are thin, but will hold so much liquid! In the past you have to buy the thick pads that felt like diapers to accomplish that. Recently they added charcoal to help neutralize smells. I also like this addition. After using these Kotex, all the other brands are like throwing away money. They don’t work. Kotex always has for me. That’s why it’s the only brand I will use.

The U By Kotex Balance Ultra Thin Pads ,size regular, with charcoal are honestly such a convenient product. I love that there's no harsh ingredients. My new favorite type of pads!!

These are definitely my new favorite pads! I’ve never used anything comparable to these before. I absolutely LOVE how thin and light weight they are. They instantly wick moisture away from your skin leaving you feeling dry and clean for hours. I suffer from a extremely heavy flow and I had 0 leaks with these . My skin is very sensitive and I usually get a rash from the excess moisture while wearing most period pads. It was a relief not to experience a rash with these pads. I also LOVE the concept of the charcoal odor wicking center that was a game changer for me. I usually worry about odor when using pads but I was glad to have 0 issues with odor with these. The pads are good for low to medium flow. I like the bright packaging. The grooves in the pads hold everything in so you don’t have side leakage. I really like that they don’t have wings as some underwear would become uncomfortable if the wings were on them. The only qualm I have is that if you were perhaps a teen or someone who didn’t regularly use pads, it’s only the actual packet that has the directions on it. According to the packaging, the back has a sticky part. It would be nice if the directions were printed on each individual pad so that if you only had access to an individual pad, you’d know the back is meant to stick and the front isn’t.All in all, they’re a good pad. These are excellent pads. I like them. Comfortable to use (high-level protection, no odor, quick dry, no leaks, without any fragrance). Very interesting concept with charcoal core, for me it was first time, when I used something like that, and it’s really useful. Pad has nice soft cover and good anatomical shape. When I walked or sat or lay down, I didn’t feel any discomfort and didn’t worry, these pads are almost invisible, but reliable.Nice paper based box, not much colors, laconic descriptions. Each pad is wrapped in an individual multi-colored package.But I also have a not-so-good comment. I had a heavy pads, but for my first days of the period they weren’t enough, unfortunately. Too large and rigid for my body size

I think that overall this product has promise. I am small and rather petite, so my experience was muddied with the fact that the pad was entirely too long (I would say about 3" of excess length both in the front AND back!) which made it awkward to wear outside of the house. In addition, the middle portion felt pretty stiff, which actually caused some discomfort on the skin of my inner thighs as it didn't move with me and instead just rubbed until many hours of wearing when it finally broke down a bit. As far as absorbency goes, I'd say these did pretty well. I was happy with the absorbency of the product. I also think that the charcoal scent reduction worked at least a little as well. These pads are really long in length, so it made it feel slightly awkward when wearing, and it made it kind of difficult to stick the pad to my underwear; however, the wings did stick really well. I do not think that these are “thin “pads by any means- at least I certainly wouldn’t consider them so.
