Bought a pair today - this afternoon.Arrived home (super excited), and put them straight on!I got home around 3:30pm ...Was leaking by 7:00pm.Not just light spotting either! Large patches of blood on my dress and red inner thighs...I'm a mum. 3 kids. It lasts longer than most other kinds I've tested and tried, and it absorbs quiet well. The seal as well is quite good, however I feel it should be wider in the middle section to ensure there is no leakage from the middle or sides (more absorbant material/ lining) They hold quite well in place. Wearing it is often comfortable and not bothersome or obtrusive. The material is nice and soft as well making them comfy to wear throughout the night.The only disadvantage is that they do not absorb quickly in the event of an unexpected gush. For a few moments, you'll feel like you're standing in a puddle.Until it has soaked into the underwear.

When I woke up in the morning I felt dry and clean, and had no leaking, smudging, or any of the usual nonsense I get with pads. These period undies also felt way more absorbent than daytime ones.The best part about these is how comfortable it was to sleep in underwear instead of using other period products - no itchy plastic or awkwardly removing a cup when you're half asleep.I threw these in the regular wash and they came out looking like new - definitely helped by the fact they're black and won't stain easily.I plan to buy ... I found that this product was fantastic and easy to use. It is more comfortable than wearing pads, tampons or liners, as they are just undies. They provide ease of mind while sleeping as you can wear and forget. They absorb well and are so easy to clean. I just popped mine into the washing machine and they cleaned up very well. I also like how they are dark in colour like black, which makes you feel comfortable that there will be no visible stains or marks. Another thing I really loved about these is that they are full coverage, which allows you to move normally without feeling like you'll move them out of place. I absolutely love this product!!
My teen used these and was surprised at how much she liked them. They were comfortable, true to size and effective. Laundering takes a bit more than regular underwear - to be expected. I did a quick rinse with cold water before throwing them into the washing machine. I sometimes use fabric softener, so I do have to remember not to use it when the period undies are in the load of washing. These can’t be thrown in the dryer, so I’d recommend washing them in a laundry bag so they’re easy to find if the rest of the load is going in the dryer. My teen tried the full brief and would like to try a boyleg version.
Love this new version!I've trialled U by Kotex's previous period undies and this new version as well and love that it appears that U by Kotex has listened to feedback as these overnight undies have changed so that period blood doesn't leak through the seams, while keeping the undies comfortable! One thing I'll note is that my period doesn't really leave my body while sleeping so my experiences may differ to someone else's.As these are overnight undies I think they work well. However, I did have period blood on the seam since it was so wide, so my concern is that if it is used in the day with repeated toilet visits, that the period blood may begin to run towards the seam/become a bit messy to use.Disclaimer: I only trialled this once.

Great option for those who don't like the bulkiness of pads. The padding at the back goes up very high. They are so much more comfortable, thinner and breathable compared to others.They have a thick top band which doesn’t dig in and doesn’t leave marks. The material is so soft and thin. It feels like a normal pair of undies, which is what you want and need. These are definitely the best period undies i’ve tried so far. Other ones i’ve tried have been prone to staining/bleaching, but the gusset in these is a different material which doesn’t seem to stain easily. I haven’t had any issues with bleeding through the underwear, even wearing them for the full 12 hours - but I don’t generally have a super heavy flow compared to some people, so this could definitely be a factor to consider. Overall, this product is supportive, secure, and still comfortable to wear overnight or just going about your daily life. Would definitely recommended. -)
I have tried multiple period underwear on the market, but none have compared to the comfortability of the U By Kotex Overnight Period Undies. They feel extremely lightweight, like regular underwear (if not more comfortable). My periods are moderate-heavy and at no point during my time trialling was there any leakage, something I worry about often when going to bed whilst on my period. I would honestly recommend these (and have) to my friends.Before trialling these I would just wear pads to bed and in the morning would often find I had leaked through. On top of that, the convenience of being able to put them in the wash as opposed to throwing out pads makes my morning that little bit easier. I will definitely be purchasing more!
