Ubiquiti LBE-5AC-GEN2 airMAX LiteBeam AC Gen2

The LiteBeam AC is an ultra-lightweight airMAX ac CPE device with incredible range and disruptive pricing. It directs RF energy in a tighter beamwidth and with the focus in one direction, the LiteBeam 5AC Gen 2 blocks or spatially filters out noise, so noise immunity is improved. This feature is especially important in an area crowded with other RF signals of the same or similar frequency.

Easy to set up after some troubleshooting. The app used to pair them is excellent. great range and strong connection. I have them 2km away from line of sight.

I live rurally (200m outside city boundary) and can only get VDSL and have been looking for better internet access for years.I found a location in town with Fibre that also has a clear line-of-sight to our house and they were willing to let me put in a wireless link to get better internet.I installed a Point-to-Point link using these LBE-5AC-Gen2 units with a distance of 2.6km between the end points and I'm getting link speeds between 250 MBPS and 300 MBPS - which is pretty close to the Fibre speed and hugely better than the 30 MBPS I get on VDSLI check ed the performance during the recent heavy rain and it didn't seem to be impacted much so all in all I'm pleasantly impressed.

It comes with a PoE adaptor. The cheaper/less range version doesn't according to the reviews so this is almost cheaper to buy.

Used as a wireless network bridge between 2 buildings. Great easy set up with the web interface. using it much closer range than the product spec but still getting 350+ MBps throughput. very happy

Purchased two this to create a PtP Wireless Link from my house to a family members a few KM across the valley with a -61db connection able to pull 600 Mbps. With the Management Radio and the UISP mobile app, setting them up took a few minutes. Aligning them was a point and guess with the Alignment Tool in the App & a peer of binocularsAdded Aircube to the end of the network for a router.Integrated into the UISP Cloud server for automatic updates and backups, incase one needs to get replaced.Might turn it into a PtMP in the future to gain some income

Has a good 10 - 15km range if using them as PTP links. Must have a good line of sight (no trees in the way) for best performance.

I was looking for an easy to configure point-to-point WiFi link to cover a couple of km with reasonable line of sight. A pair of these are doing the business - easy to set up and currently running the link at 150-200 Mbps, which is way better than expected. Can't be too fussy about alignment either, or I really lucked out and got it right first time, 'cos they connected straight away and needed no tweaking beyond my initial best guess at pointing them at each other which was pretty rough, as there are trees in the way at one end. They've been running for over a week now and no problems so far, replacing a pair of old EnGenius access points that struggled to get 1Mbps at 2.4GHz. Wish I'd bought these sooner!

Excellent devices

These are being used in outback Australia near St Geroge. The main house has Starlink and the station hand cottage is 750 metres away. The thoughput between the dishes is 605 Mbps and there is no degredation of internet speed between the cottage compared to the main house.Easy to setup and the cottage has a basic Asus router distributing the internet between a number of devices. Speeds in the cottage are sufficent to handle 3 devices streaming HD content. So for less than the price of a new Starlink setup (and no ongoing monthly fees), we are able to share the one Starlink service between two houses on the property - 750 metres apart.Money well spent!

Works great just as described

Unit works great and was surprisingly easy to aim the dishes ( don't need to be ultra precise at the range I'm using= 400mtrs) the speed is good and I've had zero drop outs or issues, my only complaint is that there is little information on the initial set up procedure , if you are tech minded not so bad if not you will need someone to do the initial set up for you
