I have this on a telephone pole with a camera on my driveway. I'm not using the PoE adapter since I already had PoE running to the pole. I've got a UniFi Switch Flex 5-Port inside so that I can connect and power multiple cameras.

I have this on a telephone pole with a camera on my driveway. I'm not using the PoE adapter since I already had PoE running to the pole. I've got a UniFi Switch Flex 5-Port inside so that I can connect and power multiple cameras.
Using the included 120V-to-POE power supply with a USW-FLEX switch fails to power more than one Hikvision POE (802.3af, 36V to 57V, 9 W) camera attached to the switch. Whereas powering the USW-FLEX from another Netgear POE switch switch does power two of those Hikvision 9W POE cameras. So there's something funky with Ubiquiti's POE system in this enclosure. Maybe the power supply and switch combo plays well with other Ubiquiti devices downstream, but it's a FAIL with other vendor's cameras. Which is a bummer because the enclosure itself is great. I wasted a bunch of time swapping in new ethernet cables as I thought it was a cable fault, but it seems like a POE design or compatibility issue.
This package arrived fast it is awesome the flex utility can solve many problems by spreading the Poe power to rest of the network it takes little spot on the wall and it is so usable Ubiquiti did great! And as for B&H There is no words left for me to say beside thank you!!
