I use this with the Nintendo Switch. I'm single, an adult, live alone with no kids and I love this game as exercise! It's not just for little kids or for playing with other people, you can play alone and have lots of fun doing it! It gives you a workout that is so fun you dont even notice how long you've been exercising. Unlike with the treadmill, where every second is torture for me lol, this is fun, easy exercise and you burn so many calories. Everyday I just put this on, choose songs I like, and before I even notice I've been exercising for an hour and have burned hundreds of calories! My watch tracks my exercise/calories and it considers every minute I'm dancing as an exercise minute. The extra add on, Just Dance Unlimited, is a decent price for a year and it's totally worth it because it gives you a whole catalogue of songs instead of just the 40 in your game. It costs companies a lot of money to have the rights to use songs in their games which is why you have to pay for the service of unlimited songs. The add on price (around $25 for Switch users I think?) is way better cheaper than a gym membership.

I like the transition of the Just Dance games to the switch. This introduced a big game changer for me, the subscription feature. Although it's not ideal to lay extra the 2 dollars is worth the unlocked feature of all the previous game songs. My older games have been lost, scratched and borrowed to not be returned so this feature saves me lots time, money, and effort that came with keeping the older versions. Plus they upload the remastered versions of the older songs

I have all the Just Dance’s that WII has put out. They are so much fun to play. I love dancing and they music is top hits from today and the past. Their are many times of dance like country, hiphop, reggae, pop and more. I love to play with my daughter and sister we take turns and its a great way to burn some calories too. My dad who doesn’t play the game with us still has fun watching all of us play. Not as much fun as the Wii or xbox but still good

I love dance games I always have but when buying the game I expect to have a decent number of songs to dance to as I have already bought the game. The game is useless without the subscription. Old songs and songs from right before release of the game should be included and subscription for anything released after. There were so few songs included it wasn't worth getting.

A great just dance game with nice song collection
29 August 2020

Just dance 2020 has a nice song list with some very good option. My fiancee and I enjoy playing it as a form of entertainment and exercise. The all star mode is a welcome addition to the game that brought back some very good songs from older games. My only complain is the UI could be a bit easier to navigate and they should update the graphics for older songs as they looked outdated. If you have just dance 2019, I would recommend skipping this as there is not too many difference from that version. For the people that don't have that game, I would definitely recommend it, especially when it's on sale for $20.

Another great addition

The game is great and the ability to use your smart phone in place of needing a connect is great. I do have an x-box one x with the adapter and kinnect, and the camera does great. It gets a little spotty as it is so sensitive that at times it picks up my lab (dog) as it walks by judging me for my lack of skill and somehow starts awarding it points for wagging its tail. All joking aside it is tons of fun. The all-star mode takes you through the years of games and in the end lets you unlock a song to dance to. It also has a mode that lets you join the world stage and see how you stack up against the other people dancing it out. Really adds an element to things when you are busting your rump to break into the top 10 of the 300 or more people dancing to claim the win. I would really encourage you to get this game if you are a dance fiend, or just enjoy some healthy fun with the family. My kids love it (8 yo, 4 yo). There is also a kids mode for the little ones just learning to shake their groove things.

Bad job nintendo.

If you don’t have the special pass that cost money you have a limited choice and songs. This game is supposed to be getting up and moving and when I was playing with some friends they sat on the couch and they won. This game isn’t right it’s supposed to be about moving and dancing and hear people sitting on the couch moving their little arm once or twice a move wins. If you want a game to get you and your kids moving this is not it. It shows bad examples and it is unfair to the people that are actually trying and getting your butt moving. Do not recommend

If you have any console system other than the Wii/Wii U it's better to buy it on those.
9 January 2020

My family has loved the many incarnations of Just Dance for many years now. It's always fun to revisit previous years as well as each new edition. Ubisoft made the decision to continue making this game for the Wii console but they didn't offer a version for the Wii U. They were probably banking on the Wii U's backwards compatibility to make this game accessible to older Wii users as well as Wii U users. However, there are songs and features in this that apparently are only available on 8th generation consoles. If you don't know what those are they include the Wii U (supposedly some don't so I'm not sure if it would have worked here), Nintendo Switch, PS4 devices, and Xbox One Devices. If you don't know what those are they include the Wii U (supposedly some don't so I'm not sure if it would have worked here), Nintendo Switch, PS4 devices, and Xbox One Devices. I didn't know that when we bought it. We have a Nintendo Switch we could have purchased it for that console instead but decided to do it on the Wii because it's already hooked up to our large TV in our largest space. The Switch isn't, we use it mostly as a mobile gaming device as opposed to a Console attached to our TV. Had we known ahead of time that features and songs wouldn't be available then we wouldn't have purchased the Wii version to use on our Wii U.As big Monty Python fans we were especially looking forward to the "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" song. Unfortunately that's only available on 8th Gen Consoles. Into the Unknown from Frozen II is also only available on 8th Gen Consoles. In addition the Just Dance Unlimited (including all it's exclusive songs) and the ability to play against others on-line are not available. Apparently this has been an issue for Wii consoles with previous editions but we've been using the Wii U versions games on Wii U so I didn't know that would be an issue. Since Ubisoft didn't make an edition for Wii U (which should have been able to support all those songs and features) which leaves Wii U users in an unpleasant position of having to settle for less than everyone else is getting, not buying the game, or switching to a different system just to play this properly. This shouldn't be priced the same as the other editions considering it lacks so much that's available in those. In addition to those issues with the gameplay and features I also found this years song selection to be poor. It's not as family friendly as most are with most of the dances being oversexualized and the music choices often fairly innapropriate for family use. There are some kids songs but not many and for older kids it would be nice if there were in-between options.

Not bad but probably wouldn’t buy again

There’s nothing bad about the game aside from the fact that a lot of the music is not American pop music like the previous versions of the game. There’s a lot of dancehall and reggaeton music..... again not that it’s anything bad but when i bring this game to play with friends we only play like 3 songs because nobody recognizes the other ones. Also a lot of the dances start at a 3 or 4 on the difficulty scale. It’s not a problem for me but when I play with friends the preview intimidates them and they don’t want to play either. I haven’t played much of online but you do have to have UBISOFT membership to play the unlimited songs from older games. My advice: definitely look up some of the songs before you buy to see if you’d even play them. Nothing is better than dancing.

Great Covid exercise. The first thing you’ll want to do is purchase the unlimited for $25 a year. It will pull up all the older years. However when 2021 comes up it will not be on your unlimited. Only the year you purchased and older. You were able to make playlists so you can move from song to song. Also the reason to go unlimited is you’ll be able to unlock the cooler version of the songs right away. I would also recommend downloading from the App Store instead of buying the game because then you actually have to physically put the game in when you switch between games. If you are lazy like me you know what I’m talking about. I am not sure if that affects the unlimited part. Probably not.
