Now have a massive crack from where the stone chip was. 100% need a new windscreen. It would be interesting to know how many windscreens that they would of gone through to get one to work in the instruction videos.

Decent product instructions easy enough and did a decent job. Don’t expect to make a chip invisible but a big improvement and probably enough to save the windscreen. Kit had enough to do a few so I fixed a mates car too. Worth the money

I bought this a few weeks ago to repair a small (1cm) star crack on my window. I used it immediately and followed the instructions included very carefully, as I had only just bought my car a month ago and I really couldn't afford a mess up.It initially made the crack less visible, but about 2 weeks later the crack began to spread. One random day, the unused, parked car's windscreen crack just spread to half the windscreen.I contacted ufixit without any response. So I contacted them again today ( a week later).I ended up having my windscreen replaced. This was a completely unnecessary step that costed me money and wasted my time.It definitely doesn't live up to it's claims.

This is the first time I've had to repair a chipped windscreen.The photos show the before and the after repair of the chip that was about the size of a 20 cent coin.The chip was very near the dash board and so I couldn't clearly see if there were any bubbles before I stopped. I did not dare to heat the glass from underneath as (optionally) suggested in the instructions as the heat could have affected the dash.Anyway, the bubble and ingrained dirt is only obvious because of the macro-view of the 'after' photo. I'm very happy with the result of this repair.Next time, I will use a Dremel like tool to grind around the chip first to remove any ingrained debris from the stone impact.
On holidays for the long weekend in country NSW and I got a stone flung into the windscreen resulting in a small star crack. I was able to pop into Supercheap get this kit and repair the crack (long weekend and all auto repairs were shut in this town).The crack is now barely visible and has not spread. My main advise is to carefully read the instructions and take your time, the repair will take approx 1hr.
I purchased this product for my sons' car, a Kia Rio 2003, to use on his headlight covers. It took some time and elbow grease but they're a 100% better than what they were. Almost like new. This product removed the hazy white film. I also used this product on another car and it worked just as good. Would've liked to have had more polishing & buffing pads with the kit though. Otherwise a good product at a reasonable price.
Bullseye pock-mark which happened several months ago, has been weathered rain and car washes so figured contaminants/wear would hinder a clear repair. Not expecting much but the results were similar to professional repairs I've had in the past.Follow the instructions carefully, the process is relatively logical and no other tools required. The kit is well made and should be enough for a few repairs, be sure to clean the plunger after and store away from sunlight. I literally watched the bullseye disappear within minutes of applying the resin. Unscrewed the plunger and then back in a second time after 10min is recommended. Used a lighter to apply a little heat inside helped the resin reach all the fine end parts. I’m honestly amazed at how good this worked. I seriously can’t even see where the crack was. I took a before pic and then went to take an after pic afterwards but couldn’t find where tf the crack was! Highly recommend. Just follow the directions.
UFIXIT Windndscreen repair kit is amazing! I have never done such a thing previously, I just followed instruction found in youtube.... the star chipped has gone... I can hardly find it. It can also be used multiple times and apparently has 5 years shelf -life. Highly recommended!
Was doubtful to use a DIY windscreen repair kit. Purchased this at my local Repco, read the instructions thoroughly. Done the DIY on a 'star' rock chip about the size of 10 cent coin. Once done I couldn't believed how well it worked, it filled up the chip and the little cracks and isn't even noticeable! The process was easy and took aout half an hour. It can be used more than once, great value for money. Now I know this is a qaulity product I will recommend it.
