Are these real Uggs?

We bought these maybe two years ago and the fabric of the boot separated from the sole of the boot!! Like not even a little, all the way from my daughter's ankle and across her feet. I am honestly shocked that such an expensive and supposedly high quality boot would do this. I am wondering if these Uggs from Macy's are even the real brand. So disappointing. I'll be buying my Ugg's from the actual Ugg store next time.

I bought the boots online. When I received them, I opened to check they were the ones I ordered as it was gift for my granddaughter. After checking the first boot was good, I decided to check the second one and saw that boot had about a two-inch hole in it! I couldn’t believe it, I was so disappointed. I then had to go to Oak Brook, which negated the online ordering, to return them. It was a hassle-free exchange, but I am now hesitant to order online

Not the UGGs I remember

I’ve worn UGGs for years, having received my first pair as a gift after a family member visited Australia. I still have two pairs that have held up well for more than a decade. I can’t believe these boots are by the same brand! The inner lining is plush but has a synthetic feel and is not soft or cushy like my originals. The arch area is oddly tight along the top so it rubs, and they’re slightly short so a toe will likely pop through as a result of wear at some point. I returned them immediately and am terribly disappointed.

OLD IS BETTER THAN THE NEW
11 February 2022

I have the first pair of men's UGG CLASSIC SHORT in chestnut from the 1990's with the zig zag soles. The soles have very little wear to them. Every so often I actually put them in the washer on cold, add fabric softener inside each boot, to the water and in the fabric softener dispenser. I brush them in the same direction when they are done washing and hand them in the bathroom to air dry. Then I rewaterproof them. They are still warm and fluffy and keep my bare feet dry. I did buy the UGG classic short ii boots but they aren't the same for warmth and my bare feet sweat so bad. The wicking process only takes place with the real sheep skin ! This new blend stuff isn't worth the money. Quality of lining is not the same
17 March 2024

I’m not sure what the reason is, but the shearling that Ugg is using now is inferior. I usually get a couple of years out of a pair. I wear them as indoor shoes, and I’ve noticed with the last two pair that the lining on the soles wears out after about three months. I purchased my first pair in 1993 when I lived in California and there were only a few styles, and they lasted over 10 years, without any issues with the lining. They also sell replacement soles now which I don’t think is a coincidence.

Review of UGG Classic Mini Leather Black Boots
2 March 2024

Black suede mini Ugg boots, love the suede, more outdoorsy thank usual uggs, and more robust, nice leather stitched black label on back heel with Ugg stitched in red. So comfortable and good for your feet. Look great with jeans or mini skirt, so wearable in the summer too, I got a 4 and nearly ordered smaller but glad I didn’t as they fit perfectly length wise so smaller would have been toe touching but they feel a bit bigger because uggs are wider (better for your feet). Good quality, far too expensive! I work on my feet all day and they’ve kept there shape and fit so I guess that and the name is what your paying for. Glad I bought them. Really pleased.

Thank you Nordstrom
19 February 2023

I appreciate Nordstrom carrying s largeVariety of ugg products. I recently purchased the emerald green boot for my daughter, whom as an artist, appreciates color and design. This was her first pair of UGGs, and she claims that’ll be the only brand of boot she buys in the future. Her foot can be a bit difficult to fit because it is wide. these fit perfectly! The boot also accommodates her high arches. these were so much fun. I bought an emerald green pair as well. We’re both ready for Saint Paddy’s day. Thanks Nordstrom.

Ugg has lost a customer!
17 September 2023

I am very disappointed in. UGG! I purchase a new pair of UGGs pretty much every two years. The last pair I purchased I did notice the shearling felt a little thin and eventually my toe poked through the front of the shoe AND my shoes do. It fit tight. Out of all the UGGS I’ve purchased this had never happened! I didn’t pay as much attention to the shearling and thought maybe I just received a bad pair (maybe defective) I don’t know. But…. I purchased this Burnt Cedar color yesterday and when I got home to pull them out the box, they felt extremely light in weight, but when I put my foot in them, it was as if there was no shearling on the inside. They felt like a cheap pair of boots you would purchase from Walmart or Target and cost $180! The price continues to go up ... MoreI am very disappointed in. UGG! I will NEVER PURCHASE UGGS again until they fix this!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! See photos attached, you can clearly see the difference. SOOOOO DISAPPOINTED!

absolutely disgusting with Nordstrom
24 February 2024

I purchased the UGG boots online at Nordstrom not Nordstrom Rack…. NORDSTROM. I received them in an unmarked box (not an UGG shoebox), plain white tissue paper not UGG tissue, one was a tad bigger and had a crease across the top toe area and no insole forms, then I looked at the bottom and one sticker on one boot AND IT HAD DIRT AND HAIR ALL STUCK TO IT. They sold me boots that had been returned or been on the showroom. For $200 I don’t think so. Returned and purchased online at Macys… perfect. WOW JUST WOW NORDSTROM…. So disappointed in you.

ok, I get the hype
20 November 2023

I’ve had all the dupes and close but not exacts, but not actual UGG brand boots*. I finally purchased a pair 2 years ago and I was like OH. These things are worth it. Size 7.5 is my normal shoe size (short but wide feet), and I ordered a size 7. Though when I was pregnant last year, I couldn’t pull them up over my swollen feet, so I’d suggest maybe going up a size if you’re prone to swell. (Though again, I also have “wide” feet, so grain of salt. I normally wear a size 7 wide if it’s available) However, in the year since I gave birth, these are one of the few pair that currently still fit pre-kid. (I now wear about a size 8 I’m learning after my feet settled) The thing for me that made me part of the bandwagon was the shearling. (I now wear about a size 8 I’m learning after my feet settled) The thing for me that made me part of the bandwagon was the shearling. All of a sudden after the kid, my feet started getting more sweaty and therefore smelly. So, when I was able to slide these over my feet after the swelling went down, I immediately noticed how breathable they are. They keep my feet nice and toasty around the house or out and about when it’s cold, but rarely get too uncomfortably warm for me to take them off. Love how comfy they are. Now obviously wouldn’t wear them on a warm day, but they’re perfect on hard floors and cold days. Hoping to buy house shoes and maybe the shortest pair, because dang. I’m part of the fam now. Definitely recommend. (*still haven’t tried the less expensive Koolaburra pair because I figured if I was still putting in that much money, I’d go all the way… but now really want to. I want to know what the biggest differences are, so I may update.)
