Buying Tasman's Soon!!

I love these shoes!! They're cute and comfy!! This is my first pair of Ugg slippers & I was going back and forth between these (TAZZ) & the Tasman's. I now know I need both! I generally wear a size 8/8.5 depending on the shoe. However in the Classic Ugg I wear a size 7, I knew I could get away with it because of the inner lining being so dense, they fit perfectly the first day to now & it's been 3 years. I decided to get the TAZZ in a size 8 having not tried them on because of reviews. This was the best decision I could have made, they did not fit perfectly in the beginning, I wore them with socks for a variety of tasks inside and outside for about 2 1/2 weeks. I can now where them & they fit my foot perfectly with no socks! My advice would be to get your normal ... MoreI love these shoes!! They're cute and comfy!! I plan on purchasing the Tasman's in a size 7, because they look to have more depth than the Tazz & like the Classic Uggs I think I could get away with a smaller size because of the inner lining!

I'm usually between 8.5 and 9 depending on the brand. Uggs boots and slippers tend to run big so I decided to get an 8. Very comfortable, no need for "breaking in", and warm. I have a high arch but this shoe was comfortable. If you have really wide feet or plan on wearing super thick socks then get your normal size. I've only worn this a few times to run errands. My only problem with this shoe was that the back is not high enough. Especially when I wear socks, my feet tends to slide out for some reason. Without socks, it's stays put. Maybe a size 9 would've been better....Still a cute casual shoe but couldn't walk all day in these.

(Now me mentioning colors probably seems irrelevant but I promise I will make my point.) Straight out of the box the 10 black felt too small. As in short, not snug. The back of my heel was right at the very end and with the puffy lip around the heel rubbing against my heel every time I would walk, it felt off. There was absolutely no way I could wear socks with my true size 10. I tried the olive 11's on and although they felt less "short" I could still feel the puffed lip graze my heel as I walked. This is something you have to get used to and you will get used to it. If that's a deal breaker for you, then these aren't for you. I wore the black 10s for a few days with socks, (even though my foot barely fit with the socks on) after a few days, they were broken in. They fit perfectly true to size with no socks on, if anything a little loose. With socks on they definitely fit true to size so much better because they have stretched out and the fur has matted down. Now here's where the color issue I mentioned comes in. When I got my chestnut 10s, The chestnut didn't need breaking in, they felt just like the black 10s post breaking in. These were new. So I'm perplexed as to why the same size, but different colors felt differently.TDLR: don't size up if you're a whole size. Half size should be fine, especially if you plan on wearing socks.

Long break in period, but still like them a lot.
16 December 2022

For me, the break in period with these was looongg... and I don't really have wide feet. I wore them here and there for a few weeks and now finally I feel like they aren't painful on the top and I can slide my feet into them without bending over and pulling the heel on. When I first tried them on, they were very tight on top and not easy to slip on. After breaking them in a lot, they feel way better and quite comfortable. I love the added height but it isn't hard to walk in. My heels still come out when I'm walking, but it doesn't bother me. I think that's just the nature of a shoe made like this. Now, I knew buying these that Ugg wasn't the most cushioned shoes I could buy, and I wouldn't wear them planning on walking a ton. You can make the choice as to whether they're worth it to you, bearing all of that in mind.

Once you break them in, LOVE
31 December 2021

Ok so I read a lot of reviews about these bad boys before buying. Are they ugly and clunky? Yes. But that's what I love about them - they definitely give off Rich Mom at a Ski Resort vibes and I am here for that. I am a true size 7, with a narrow to normal width, and I ordered a 7. When I first put them on I said "oh boy..." they were NOT comfortable. The padded leather upper that goes across the foot was not forgiving. But, I put on some thick hiking socks, shoved my foot in, and wore them around the house for 4 hours. I then took the socks off and put them back on, and they were so much better! It took a few more times wearing them out and about for them to be perfect, and I love them now. Also note, the fur lined Uggs of any style are not meant to be worn with socks full time - the shearling is a natural fiber that regulates your temperature, so they won't be as cozy with socks on. Trust me... I live in Fraser, CO (the coldest city in the lower 48) and have been very cozy wearing these outside in -5, snowy weather. I hope you love them as much as I do!

Runs small but stick it out
5 January 2022

I love them, but had similar issues as everyone else when I first got them: they were very tight and my heal was slipping out. I ordered a size up with the intention of returning whichever pair didn't fit. While the bigger size was more comfortable, I could tell the sole was too big and they might become more uncomfortable to walk in after they loosened. So I kept the smaller size and now they fit perfectly! I think it depends on your foot and what you want out of the shoe: if you're a half-size, probably size up. If you want to wear thick socks with the shoe, you could probably size up. If you're true to size and want to wear them as more than slippers around the house, get your regular size, they'll be easier to walk in after they stretch. So cute and comfy but must size up!
14 November 2022

I am a true 7.5 in most shoes but after reading all of the reviews, I ordered an 8 since there aren't half sizes. I am so glad I sized up, they run a bit snug and may feel weird at first to walk in. After a while, they loosen up and mold to your feet, making them easier to walk in. I noticed my heel doesn't stay in place, meaning it somewhat flops out with ever step I take, just like sandals. That is expected since this is technically a slipper. They are super comfy and feel cozy with socks. You should definitely size up! I tried on the 7's and it was extremely tight on me and I struggled to get my whole foot inside. Overall, such a cute and comfy slipper!!!

TAZZ SIZE GUIDE
25 February 2022

I wear size 6.5 in sneakers or running shoes from big brands. I have slightly wide foot so usually size up to 7 in heels or leather boots. Since Uggs don't come in half sizes, it's bit tricky. I wear CLASSIC BOOTS size 6, COQUETTE size 6, TASMAN size 7, and TAZZ size 8. I normally never go up to size 8 but TAZZ did run very small so had to get 8 which fits perfectly.TAZZ VS TASMAN1. SIZING/FIT: In the photo, I'm wearing Tasman size 7 on left foot (olive) and Tazz size 8 on right foot (chestnut). As you can see, the actual foot areas are basically identical in size. Back of the heel of Tazz is lower so they fit more like a slipper. If you want more secure fit to hug your heels and do quick runs than go with Tasman. Since Tazz has low back of the heel, if you get the wrong size or true to size that fits almost tight, you'll step on the thick band when you walk so I highly recommend sizing up one (or two if you are half size). And the thick band on top of the foot of Tazz may feel bit tight at first but that area will loosen as you wear. Also the toe area of Tazz is designed slightly narrower than Tasman. If you have wide foot, definitely size up.2. STRETCH: The inner fur of Tasman is much fluffier than Tazz so the fur will flatten and the skin will stretch. I can see Tasman will stretch quiet a bit overtime just like all the other Uggs. However I don't see a great stretch potential in Tazz other than stretch of the skin.3. COMFORTABILITY: You can bend Tasman in half. They are flexible and very comfortable. On the other hand, Tazz will not bend, feels much stiffer, hence not too comfortable but still comfortable enough to wear as running errand slippers.Tazz is much stiffer, smaller, and bit narrower than usual Uggs, so the reviews are not as great as their boots, but if you get the correct size, they are comfortable. I went through a lot of trial and error, tried all different sizes of Tasman and Tazz, and after waiting months for Tazz in my size to restock, I finally snatched a pair when one came back in stock. I hope this size guide helps and good luck!

i love the color
7 December 2022

I wanted the chestnut color but was sold out every where. When i saw this burnt olive color was available i immediately snagged two sizes 7 and 8. I wear a size 7 in ugg boots. The size 7 slipper and 8 both fit fine. The size 7 was a bit snug but after walkimg around the house with them with socks they loosened up. The 8 i felt fit normal but slightly big and felt like it was slipping off my foot in the back. So basically if you have slim feet the slipper is true to size if you have wider feet size up either way the slipper will loosen up simce the fur will go down. But i love the slipper and love the color first time i ever have a shoe in platform and obsessed cant wait to wear them.

size up
24 January 2023

After reading reviews, I decided to size up x2 on these. I’m almost always a 9 in any kind of footwear but bought these in an 11 which I never do. But they are a really good fit.I can tell that sizing up was good for a few different reasons:- The Tazz is noticeably narrower than the regular tasman and a bigger size gives you more wiggle room- The Tazz has a lower end and a bigger size prevents your foot from slipping out or stepping on it while you walk- I can wear the bigger size very comfortably with socksAlso, I personally feel the platforms gives it more room to also be an outside of the house shoe compared to the regular ones that look more like just a slipper
