I used the cable to connect a USB external drive to a USB C port on an ASUS B550 motherboard. No issues at all.
UGREEN cables are very good quality, and affordable price as well.
Does the job if needs to! Haven’t tested it long term but it bests having to buy an expensive adaptor!
