The 3.5mm extension cable seems to be of low quality. First, either there's no sound or if there is, the audio is on the low side or really distorted if I connect my IEM that uses 3.5mm. You have to press and hold together the female end of the extension and my IEM to have a sound. Had to use a fleece tape to hold them together permanently. Second, the feel of the extension cable is not good. I guess that's why this extension cable is cheap. I got what I paid for. The first Ugreen product I bought that disappointed me.

Had it for 6 months and now the left sound is already gone, really poor quality considering the cable is laying on my desk and maybe unplugged once a day max.Refunded and going to avoid that brand for future purchase(kudos to digitec for the immediate refund)

I needed two of these to extend short headphone and microphone cords for my computer. I needed something with thin jacks so that I could put cable sleeving over the pair of cables. This has worked exactly as I needed them to. I'd knock off an egg for the slipperiness of the jack but it's not a problem for me. This was a semi-permanent install. Also, if you're curious about the dimensions of the cable and jacks: Jack-Female End (LWH): 1.0625" (1 1/16") x 0.25"(1/4") x 0.25"(1/4") - 27mm x 6.5mm x 6.5mm Jack-Male End (LWH): 1.625" (1 5/8")x0.25"(1/4")x0.25"(1/4") - 41mm x 6.5mm x 6.5mm Cable diameter: Slightly over 1/8" (3.5mm) Note: The jacks are round, just as pictured.
