The case was a bit hard to slide to start with but ok now, functions as it should with a large indicator light to show activity.

Sturdy and easy to use

I ordered 2 of them and they both work great for what I needed them for. They are sturdy and make it easy to change out the hard drive. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the cord that plugs into the storage case is difficult to plug in. I usually leave the cord attached to it so I don't mess up the port.

another on time delivery. This was packaged in a cardboard box because I had ordered 4. I only needed 2 but the price was ridiculous low so why not a couple extra? There was no packing inside, just the 4 items in their standard store packaging. one had a little damage on the corner and I was like "uh oh". the box said it was Chinese so I was like "oh ok" and I was right. it was an oversized package with an insert that held the product. ingenious simple that could have withstood a car crash so why waste packing, just let them rattle in the shipping box. the product was fine. About the product. Cheaply made. I examined the plastic box and by the components used as well as the design, it was obvious that I cost very little to manufacture this item. but the quality is a different story altogether. it wasn't made to be opened and closed on a regular basis but the parts fit tightly, the finish is simple yet speaks elegance. it is perfect for what it is. and there are so many similar products that cost way more in price. yeah it is plastic and if you drop it that's it for this box. then again if it has a harddrive in it the box will be the least of your worries. so if you are clumsy, buy one of those aluminum jobs with a ton of padding for $50 . if you plan on leaving it next to your computer, get this one. it's very cost effective, looks great and is very compact. like tshirt pocket compact. I have no complaints and if I need more have no problem buying this product in large quantities. it is worth it.
