My laptops original sound card would only produce digital static noise on the left channel and normal audio on the right. it was so loud I couldn't hear the audio from the reciever software. So after plugging this in it solved my problem. I'm running airspy with an sdr usb reciever.

We just bought a digital camera that uses WiFi to download pics… what a pain (for us computer illiterate old people) downloading apps, getting the devices to sync….. yuck.So I ordered this at dinner time and it shows up at noon the next day! Like magic.And it’s just plug and play.Before the driver even got down the driveway I had 82 big 5MP photos downloaded into my laptop.Came packaged nicely, and the aluminum case and cable looks of super high quality….. Let’s hope this dongle lasts.Ps… you only insert the SD card in a bit to cover the gold contacts…. Somehow I was thinking the SD card would slide in all the way like they do in the camera

The SD reader on my laptop is slightly damaged and at times, won't hold in the SD card.With the UGREEN card reader, I was able to use an USB port to access the info on my SD card. This unit will hold a standard SD card or a micro SD card. Unlike the built in card reader on my laptop, the SD card only goes about 1/3 way into the UGREEN reader and there is no click lock on the card. Be sure to use your computer's USB icon to "eject" the USB card before physically removing the card, otherwise, you may lose information on the card.The UGREEN reader was fast and I had no trouble transferrring information between the reader and my computer.

I bought this last minute because I needed to transfer files from my film equipment to my laptop, but my laptop didn't have a built-in sd card reader. This product works very well and I was able to transfer my files fast without any issues. The cord is a little short but it is able to bend in any direction needed.

Thought that the Sd card port on the computer was faulty. Purchased this to upload photos off of my SD card. Works perfect. Also works in out laptop as the newer styles don’t have SD port. I was pleased with my purchase.

Running Linux and some card readers aren't recognized. I had another brand that would work on Windows but not Linux. After it arrived, packaged well, I tried it on my Linux system and it was recognized immediately. Tried on Windows 10 and the same. Able to transfer files quickly from my camera SD card.Tried the mini SD card and tried again with the SD card adapter and it worked both ways. Happy camper here.

Some items are a hit some a miss. This one did exactly what it was designed to do. No fuss. No software to download. Just insert the card plug it in and do your thing. And the piece was perfect. I would highly recommend this if your looking for a solid, easy to use card reader. Tell your friends , buy 20 and give them away. It really is that good.

I bought an ASUS computer that has a solid-state hard drive. It is a great computer, with fast loading and long-lifetime security in the hard drive. What it does NOT have is a slot to read and write SD cards. This USB plug-in version works perfectly to overcome that lack.

This is great. It works first time on both Windows 11 and Linux. Brain dead simple... Just plug it into a USB port and you have a card reader. Insert a card and it opens almost instantly. Its FAST... With a good high-speed card I get write speeds over 100 MB/s routine. Even with slower cards I get close to the rated speed. And, you can read/write to two cards at the same time, so you copy from one to the other, without any noticeable speed hit with either card. If you need a card reader/writer THIS is the one to get. This is the first product I have bought from this company, but it won't be the last!
