Plugged in and inserted an SD from my camera. The photo images transferred to my Mac immediately without any need to run any additional software.

My new iMac is equipped with only USB-C ports - very fast but will not work with all of the devices I have. Furthermore, I needed a card reader for SD & MicroSD cards from my cameras. This device solved ALL of those needs in a well-built and nicely designed package. I'm very pleased!

Using the Ugreen sd / micro sd card reader with micro usb connector to transfer photo files from the camera sd card to a micro sd card as a method for temporary back-up for vacation photos worked great. The device is well made, attractive and worked as advertised. Lucky even more to get it on sale.

I needed this for my Apple iPad Pro 12.9 inch so I can see pictures from my Sony camera. It comes loose & falls out. Was able to get it to work, but this was after multiple unplugs. I want to be on the go & this ruins that

Can't ask for more. It work as expected. Work flawlessly. I needed an adapter that will read my microSD card off my drone to my Samsung Note 20 Ultra or Samsung Tab S7 FE for quick file transfer, and this adapter does the trick. Instead of powering off my phone/tablet to swap out memory card. Just plug this in to the usb type c port and put in memory card and viola. I can transfer my files to my devices and share it on social media.

I needed a card reader - this one works great. However the SD card transfer speed seems to be slow. This also has a USB port, but is 2.0. A bit of a bummer. It works well and multiple computers have recognized it without issue. I only wish it were faster. I'm impatient. But - it is WAY better than having nothing at all.

Works well. Two minor concerns: Brand name on item seems to be stamped on the wrong side. I turned it over so the SD card label reads from top. The card does not slide very far unlike other readers. Once you're use to it, it's not an issue.

Have a 2021 Golf GTI with only one USB-C connection and no SD card reader. I use this and it's SD card slot for music and use it's USB connection for connecting my phone to charge it and use android auto for directions since VW's navigation is such a pain to use. And yes you can play music and use android auto at the same time.

Worked like a charm first time out of the box. I guess that is to be expected, but I’ve had some interesting experiences with add one for my new computer. This little gem is super easy and intuitive. Sturdy housing. I am very pleased.

Despite the product description, mine plays .mp4 videos from a card on my generic PC (with a USB adapter), and natively on my S7 FE tablet and my S8 phone. I can open all three cards. Best Ugreen product I have ever bought! I will test it on my Tab E when I get the other style of adapter.
