If you've taken a running hiatus recently, trading outdoor miles for studio classes and more nights out with your friends, relax. Everyone's done it at some point. But if spring and summer goal races have started sneaking their way into your thoughts, slip on the Adidas Women's Ultraboost Running Shoes to get yourself back into the sport you love. Adidas' proprietary Boost cushioning is the star of the show here, lending the Ultra Boost a springy, energetic pop and nimble feel. Slipping on your shoes and warming up is always the toughest part of returning to running. Fortunately, when you slip on the Ultra Boost, the stretchy Primeknit uppers conform to the lumps and bumps of your feet, while Adidas' Torsion system locks in a secure fit along your instep and provides stability through the middle of the shoe. Along your heel, FitCounter wraps around your Achilles tendon, allowing it to flex and extend naturally throughout the course of your run. While Boost cushioning creates a soft, but responsive ride, Continental and StretchWeb rubber along the outsole add grip and durability as you gradually build up your miles.

This was the third pair of Ultra Boosts I have ordered. Previous pairs were a 10 and fit well. This shoe in the same size was an entire size too big. Close to two thumb lengths from tip. Ridiculous how they change sizing like that. Will be returning and not repurchasing. Color I want is now sold out in a 9. Very disappointed. Way to keep customer base Adidas!

I use these shoes for running. I would recommend getting a 1/2 size smaller than your normal running shoes. I ignored the other reviews and initially bought my normal size 9. However, they were huge! They were even too big for my inserts. So, I ordered a size 8.5 instead. The fit on the 8.5 was much better. I love the flexibility & breathability of the knit upper and the traction and durability of the outsole. However, I do have a few complaints, which is why I am going to return them. Firstly, with my custom inserts, the footbed feels too shallow which causes my heel to slip out, or feel like it's going to slip out. Also, for some reason, my foot does not sit right in my inserts with these shoes. The heel of my foot sits on the edge of my inserts which causes ... MoreI use these shoes for running. Lastly, the upper does not seem to be waterproof. Overall, I think if you are not wearing inserts, these shoes would be fine. I am bummed to have to return them because I do love the knit upper!

I'm on my 4th pair of the Ultra Boosts and I've had all 3 versions. This newer version feels even bouncier and more cushioned without losing flexibility or connectivity to the road. The upper material is even more flexible/stretchy than the previous versions, which I like, but that may be why I had to size down one half size. I've always worn an 8.5 in Adidas shoes, and this was the first time I had to go down to an 8. They may have lengthened the shoe a bit, too. Awesome shoe and I hope Adidas doesn't change it much!

These shoes are awesome! I am a nurse and I am on my feet all day. With my current work shoe, at the end of an 8 hour workday, my feet are hurting and I can't wait to get home to elevate my feet and just relax. But even that's not enough. Ever since I got these shoes, I've been wearing them everyday day and my feet are so Happy! I can continue to run around after work and I no longer need to elevate my feet at the end of my workday. I have even told several of my colleagues about them. My sister originally told me about these shoes and I was so reluctant to get them at first because of the price. But now I'm sold and have since bought 3 more pairs and am thinking about buying another to go with my workout wardrobe. Thank you Adidas! You did it right with these ... MoreThese shoes are awesome! UNBELIEVABLE!!! I normally have a grave yard of running shoes... new balance... mizunos... and last was Brooke's. I thought I had met my soulmate with Brooke's running shoe. But this one caught my eye and the design looked like it just might fit my needs. So I went ahead and splurged on a brand that I thought I would never invest in. All I can say is this, and I NEVER DO REVIEWS, I have never had a running show with this performance and glide. I am getting back into running after a hard surgery 2 years ago and this shoe makes me feel like I have never stopped running. I have no shin splints, my gate is graceful with no rebound (its like running on a cloud-no other way to explain it) and it makes it hard for me to stop (Kinda feel like Forrest Gump-but still). The only thing that has hindered my running is my endurance with breathing. That is fixable naturally. My legs and knees and feet.... the shoes work perfectly to protect me from injury, especially since I am working on my gait and endurance again! Perfect engineering in this shoe. Totally in love!
I am a marathon runner and I love these shoes! I wore my first pair when I ran Boston in April and I am now on my fourth pair (I run 70+ miles each week and I just bought pairs 3 and 4.) These shoes are super cushioned and really light and I especially like wearing them for my speed work out days and for races. They have a slipper feeling to them and the fabric is very stretchy and comfortable for my toes. I will keep buying these for as long as I can. Great shoe!
I really wanted to love these, but should have listened to the reviews that stated they don't provide enough stability. I have run numerous marathons and always worn Asics, but noticed the quality of Asics is no longer what it once was. After much debate, decided to give the boost a try. When I put them on they are super soft and do fit according to my correct shoe size. When I attempted to run on the treadmill, they felt loose and have absolutely no stability, my feet were slipping all around the shoes. I promptly took them off and loaded them back in the free return box and sent them on their way. Not for me. I have had plantar fasciitis and hip issues, so require more support and stability. Very grateful Road Runner has free returns. I'll purchase from them again ... If you just want soft cushiony walking shoes or even workout shoes, you may like them.
These shoes are super cool looking but they are so not worth the price. They fit very big so i felt like my foot was swimming in the shoe, and they do slip out on the back. Also, the sole appears to be very comfortable because it is super cushiony. However, and this is my biggest complain about them, the foam sole that they use does not have any firmness to it whatsoever. The best way to explain this is that I could feel my heel touching the floor after a few hrs of wearing them. And for someone who suffers of plantar fasciitis, that is not a good thing at all. I wouldn't recommend that you pay so much for this shoe, other than the look of them.
These make your feet look huge! But who cares when you're sailing through the air nearly effortlessly?! These feel like a minimalist shoe but have the padding you need. I am a heavy heel striker, high arch and need a neutral shoe. Other runners have recommended I start to look for shoes with less of a drop to prevent the heavy heel strike. These are the absolute perfect combination of forcing me to land properly without restricting my natural gait, and they are so comfortable! I've been running for nearly a decade and have never been excited about running shoes until these.
I spent about 1-2 months look for these shoes in size 7 and in the black color. I was able to try on a size 7.5 in white in an adidas store so I knew that I could fit a size 7 as I'm usually in between that half size, depending on the shoe and brand. The shoe is very sleek and lightweight in my hands. When I tried them on at the store, I was so amazed by how they felt on my feet. And if one could feel elation putting on shoes, that was me when I put these on again in the correct size! Everyone says to go half a size down, and I agree! There's a bit of wiggle room for me, which isn't a problem should I choose to wear thicker socks. So definitely go half a size down! I walked around in these and I was almost bouncing up and down (mostly from that elation, but also ... MoreI spent about 1-2 months look for these shoes in size 7 and in the black color. They hug my feet so comfortably that I never want to take them off ever. These are the most expensive trainers that I've bought, but worth every penny. I have yet to test them out by running or going to the gym, but I don't have any worries since there are so many great reviews already about these ultra boosts.
