So glad I decided to try this honey after suffering from a really bad cold in December. A spoonful of honey each day that I purchased in the South Woodford Waitrose really helped. The slightly grainy texture is beyond heaven, coupled with the health benefits what's not to like. Highly recommend!

I am reviewing this honey because it was sent to me as a free sample by Ocado. We enjoyed it swirled into porridge but it also tasted good straight off the spoon. I know Manuka honey is supposed to have several health benefits but I can?t comment on these after such a short trial. I would buy it again if it wasn?t so expensive, but it will have to be a special treat when I?m feeling generous.

Delighted to get to review. It does taste really delicious, very different to standard honey - but I would not pay that much for just the taste. It is the many unique properties of Manuka and the quality of the source. Looking forward to seeing it it helps my sleep and allergy issues! The way it is produced retaining all the good stuff along with the pure honey is great. The price does seem to be well in line with other Manuka products of this strength et al, and from other sources.

A high quality raw Manuka honey. Very thick consistency with a strong medicinal taste. Very grainy and sweet compared to other brands of pasteurised smooth Manuka honey.
I was sent this to review for Ocado. I regularly buy manuka honey because of it?s health benefits, with lemon and hot water you can?t beat it for a sore throat. The strong flavour is a feature of manuka honey and this didn?t disappoint, it?s not to everyone?s taste but I like it. Great value for the MGO value of the honey. Will buy again

It is independently certified for purity and quality, it has a batch number, and it can be traced back to source through a code printed on the label. It is raw, unpasteurised, monofloral, and it contains wax free crushed honeycomb. It tastes surprisingly nice for a semi medicinal product. It is obviously not medical grade manuka honey, as that miraculous wound healer has a MGO of 829+ and is sold in small tubes of 25g. This product was provided free by Ocado in exchange for a honest review. Great tasting honey has a slight caramel burnt taste. We ate this straight from the jar and was impressed with the honeycomb texture. Manuka honey is expensive and this is definitely comparable with other brands, especially when its on offer.
I received this free from Ocado in return for a review. It has a much stronger flavour than most other honey I?ve tried, but I thought it worked very well stirred into Greek style yoghurt. The health benefits of manuka honey have been much written about, and I did have a slight sore throat a few days after the honey arrived, tried this, and it definitely improved the scratchy sensation in my throat. Might not buy for myself at this price point in future, but would buy if on offer.
I was given a jar to review. I love honey but have never tried Manuka honey before despite knowing about the health benefits. I tried it on toast for breakfast and really enjoyed it - both the strong flavour and the texture. I would recommend it. I am a convert and will definitely buy it again. Admittedly it is expensive but it is a high quality product and different to everyday honey.
Absolutely amazing product. I've been a fan of Manuka Honey for years (I take it for my reflux) but when I found Steens I knew there was something different about it. One spoonful in the morning, one at night and then throughout the day when I need it and my reflux has completely cleared since I started this routine. A fabulous product, and so delicious in both taste and texture. Highly recommend!
