This is my second pair UA Hovr shoes and while the uppers of previous pair were great as was the cushioning with the exception of the toe box which left the sensation of your toes on the edge of a step overhanging, the out sole wear characteristics was very poor. I walk a 7.5 km loop at 8.5 km/h and wore these shoes down to the foam mid layer in under 3 months. I am 83 kg and 182 cm so was pretty disappointed even though I bought the shoes at a very discounted price compared to retail. Now to the current Pair of Intelliknit Phantom 2, I have only just received these shoes and gone for three walks and unfortunately they are already showing signs of exaggerated outer sole wear, can't imagine how fast I would blow through these shoes running 8 km loops like I used to ... MoreThis is my second pair UA Hovr shoes and while the uppers of previous pair were great as was the cushioning with the exception of the toe box which left the sensation of your toes on the edge of a step overhanging, the out sole wear characteristics was very poor. This is unusual to me and the rest of the inner soul is unique in that it has an elevated perimeter at its out edge most noticeable at the heel. the shoe is sized accurately and fits well but the sliding around of my foot inside is annoying. The all external loop style lace holes made of elasticised nylon also dont permit a lacing pattern that pulls the heel forward for better foot security and is one area that concerns me as a high potential for failure as the laces require lots of adjustment when fitting and removing the shoe. This is my first sock style runner and the overall fitment is good I am a US 11 and that is the size purchased in this shoe, I knew that sizing is accurate from my previous pair of UA shoes. I don't think I will buy another pair of Under Armour shoes as the outer sole wear rate is excessive and leads to short shoe life when the rest of the shoe is still good. Disappointed overall and I bought them, the previous pair that is, on the recommendation of my eldest son who is 6'5 and 95 kg who had a really good run out of his Under Armour HOVR runners. Clearly the latest outsole rubber is too soft. I tried this pair of Phantom 2's as the soul is different to my first pair and mainly because I got them very heavily discounted otherwise I would not have even tried them based on my previous experience which is a shame as they are good shoes badly let down by poor quality / excessive wear of the outer sole rubber.Hope this helps and Under Armour can turn this around as they have got potential and I can't imagine I am the only one with this experience as I am in a very common size and weight range.

I’m pleasantly surprised and actually happy and impressed with this shoe. It has a good fit, most importantly and it’s a nice looking shoe. I like the slip on capability this shoe provides. The loop in the back heal makes it easy to slip on and your hands don’t have to get near or touch the bottom part of the shoe. That’s a win in my book. Good job UA.

Received my HOVR Phantom 2 IntelliKnit today. I was immediately disappointed in the tight fit as compared to the previous model. The previous model was very comfortable, but the toe box and heal are significantly more narrow in the newer version. The heal doesn't bother me as much, but I would not recommend these for a wide foot or anyone who doesn't appreciate a narrow toe box. They say to order them larger for a wide foot, but that wouldn't work for me. As a previous wearer of this model, it would have been nice to know they made this adjustment to this model prior to ordering. The previous model had outstanding comfort, but the fabric tore in 2 places where it attached to the rubber on one shoe. I discussed this with UA rep, but they don't consider it a defect ... MoreReceived my HOVR Phantom 2 IntelliKnit today. I hope this helps.

As a female with large feet I often purchase men's shoes. I bought these for the color since I work at a HS with orange and black as our colors. They are a bit stiff through the heel box, but I have pretty skinny ankles. May be a better fit for guys. They are perfect for wearing to my many sporting events but probably wouldn't use for workouts.
Very happy with this buy came in original box and arrived before estimated time at the collection store . I’ve had Under Armour trainers before and wasn’t disappointed with these . Normally I’m a sis uk8 and my previous were size 8.5 so again ordered the same size and going these are a very comfy size , they also look better than the photo well happy !
I have an ankle problem but I still find ways to live a fit life. I searched for comfortable shoes all over and am just an Under Armour Fan.I have the Sonic 4s and will be reviewing them soon but for now, here are my brief thoughts of these shoes:Pros:+Stylish and aesthetic for most athletic apparel+Very comfortable due to extra HOVR foam+Size 12 weighed about 342g; very lightweight for its size+Great for casual walkingCons:-Knit fabric does not fit like a glove or sock around my feet as some described. While it is stretchy, it doesn't fit right on the feet. There's too much movement going on while running. This was quite distracting during my test run.-The big one; foot Molding. It's terrible for running. After 6 miles running, these shoes gave my ... MoreI have an ankle problem but I still find ways to live a fit life. It's terrible for running. After 6 miles running, these shoes gave my toes blisters. I wish it had a regular footbed and insole like the Sonics.-While the shoes are slightly lighter, they still felt clunky.-Not really suited for mid to forefoot strikers but more for heel stickers.-No Bluetooth features for the steep price-Not ideal for real performance focus orthotics; heel kept sliding out of shoe each stride/step. Not secureOVERALL: I really wanted to like it but there are just too many cons for the price. I still have high confidence that Under Armour will improve. I got 2 pair of these and they felt great at first. But for long distance the lateral flexibility in the sole and the elasticity of the intelliknit actually promotes getting blisters as your feet move around within the shoe a lot. Also the air pocket or whatever in the heal of the sole gave out relatively early and didn’t hold up very long. I ran 200+ miles in one pair and about 150 miles on the other pair; which included a full marathon race, a couple half marathons, and a couple 5k and 10k races. These shoes gave me many nasty blisters on runs longer than 5-6 miles, and the sole didn’t last nearly like a good running shoes should last. I do not recommend these for runners.
I have 2 pair of these. The most comfortable shoe I've worn. The downside is that both pair make a clicking/popping sound with every step. You can even feel the click in your foot. No idea what can be the cause can be. Super annoying but super comfortable shoe.
The shoe is very comfortable and durable which makes it great for running, jogging, walking or lifting weights. I also like the bright color. I like these shoes so much that I bought a second pair. Great shoe and definitely an eye catching shoe.
Well constructed with a whole lot of comfort. Versatile color matches all of my UA gear! I bought 2 pairs of the Phantom 3 SE. The phantom 2’s are just a kick around shoe. The Phantom Se 3’s are on a whol other level. Review forthcoming on those. Happy with the Phantom 2’s. Another GREAT UA product!
