These are very nice. True to size. Can be dressed up or more casual. My grandson loves blue! So these are perfect . Also material is A+ quality.

Airy and comfortable

My son is now in middle school and the dress code no longer allows basketball shorts. This was the end of the world for him bc it’s all he wears, even in the winter time. These ended up being the next best option when compared to jeans. He’s able to stay in dress code and stay cool and comfortable. Staying cool in this texas heat is everything!

Boys UA Golf Shorts - Excellent Purchase

I'm really happy with my short purchase. Practical soft fabric and adjustable waist is a bonus. Great sizing per measurement chart. I'm a small 15 year old and the Size Youth Large fits well. Only disappointment is that they didn't arrive in time for my tournament.

Grandsons need for school wear

Four of my grandsons must wear khaki/tan pants/shorts to school. The Under Armor pants wash up very well as they get passed down from one boy to the next. I purchased two pairs each of the small youth , medium youth, large youth and extra large youth.

Great back to school shorts and regular wear

I bought these shorts for my 10 year old son. They fit him very well with room to grow (large) the medium fit perfectly. He likes the style and material. i bought the belt to go with the large size which he will probably be fitting into next spring. He tends to grow really fast he currently wears a size 10/12. I bought the medium and large sizes. Medium fits perfectly not too tight with a bit of room growth. Large fits as well with room to grow would recommend purchasing a belt.

Great fit for hard-to-fit kid

These shorts are the closest shorts to wearing loose fit athletic wear for my son, but they give a dressed up look. It is a little difficult to find shorts that have the right cut and fit to them, and these UA golf shorts are the perfect fit for him. They button in the front, but have adjustable part on the inside so the shorts can be loosened or tightened. Not too snug, but not baggy. The material is great, has a nice athletic feel. Not sure on stain-resistance -- haven't had a chance to test that out yet. My son likes how these fit so much that he would like to get some pants as well for when he needs to have a more dressed up look.

Nice and versatile shorts

Bought these for my son for golf — fit great and goes well with a variety of styles and colors of golf shirts. They can also be worn as school uniform shorts or as part of a nice casual outfit for church or evening events. Really impressed with the overall style and fit of the shorts.

Not what they used to be

I have been buying the style of shorts for my boys for school and this time they just weren’t the same. First off, I prefer the numeric size, but this time they just go small through extra large. They are not as tapered so they bell out in the thigh. I prefer the other style and it looks like that is mostly in the preschool shorts now and the showdown are the only option for youth dry fit shorts. I wish UA would give a couple of options in this style short because it’s not just used for golfing, a lot of boys like to wear these for uniform shorts.

Redesign is not satisfactory. Construction is terrible. The belt loops were sewn through the elastic that made them not adjustable. The casing for the elastic isn’t long enough.

Continued.. When the elastic is pulled, it leaves a huge picker that sticks out about an inch. The legs openings are huge! I spent 2 hours making these wearable, because my special needs grandson loves the feel of the fabric. This is not an issue related to change in sizing.

Uniform shorts

I only bought these because they were on sale. I usually buy school uniforms at Target since they are much cheaper. The shorts are high quality and know they will last till my son outgrows them. They run a tad large so I would consider getting a size smaller than you would normally get. My son says they are his favorite school shorts but he is obsessed with Under Armor, and has every Steph Curry product down to the mouthpiece.
