What do you need from your go-to running shorts? They need to be light and stretchy to let you move and have a liner to keep you dry.

The shorts are well fitted and tight, given the inner spandex. The waistband is tight and helps the shorts to fit really well. The only drawbacks of these shorts are that they are slightly baggy at the bottom of the legs and the drawstring is a bit thin, but otherwise, I really like them.

I was looking for a good value shorts for my mobility and crossfit/rowing workouts. These are great, The materials is stretchy but tough and the length of them allows me to move very freely. Extra bonus were compliments from my wife who usely doesn't appreciate my sport apparel choices :-)

Just ok. Don’t buy these shorts for running if you are expecting the pocket to fit an iPhone and hold it in place. Why there is a phone holder sleeve inside the pocket the whole thing barely works. First any sort of phone case makes it nearly impossible to move the phone in and out of the sleeve with out a lot of effort. So don’t plan on getting to your phone mid run. Second they still have not solved the problem of the whole phone moving and flipping about about during a workout. Your phone will inevitably end up sticking around inside out of your shorts and flopping about awkwardly. Also the material quality continues to be worse from previous versions

These shorts are an excellent light weight short that are also durable and fit someone who is slim without looking huge. These were purchased in a size small for someone who is 5'9, 120lbs, and they fit great. They do have a black piece of fabric on the sides of the legs, but it blends nicely with the navy blue and is not a stark contrast making the shorts look odd. Perfect for someone who is very picky about their attire.
I don’t like other shorts that have the zippered over the crack pocket or front flap pocket. Strange locations for pockets. I prefer the smaller inside pocket and this is the only brand that has them. The shorts feel great and lightweight.
I've been hiking and backpacking in these for about 2 years now and I'd say these are some pretty good shorts. My usual setup is smartwool leggings underneath these shorts if I'm in colder climates or just the shorts with some briefs in hotter weather and it works great. You can go take a dip in a lake and they dry out quick so they're pretty versatile. The pockets are nice and deep, they don't seem to hold onto odor that much, the fit is nice. Pretty much everything you'd want for hiking/backpacking.The major downside is there's a mesh lining that sort of acts as underwear. It's just a little too tight for me and I find myself trying to adjust my boys pretty often cause they're gettin smashed all day. They're much more comfortable with leggins or some briefs ... MoreI've been hiking and backpacking in these for about 2 years now and I'd say these are some pretty good shorts. Purchased this short at the local store a month previous to the online purchase (the store didn't have a medium). Obviously liked it enough to buy another pair. Sadly due to negligence on my part when removing the idiotic 4" plastic tag that's sewn into the short liner I cut into the liner material for about 3/4". Called Under Armour customer service to see if they'd do anything to assist. Without being able to explain the issue fully I was told that unless I bought it from Under Armour direct they would not do anything. After elaborating a bit more I was told to hold and speak to a supervisor, and that turned out to be utterly useless. At any rate the cut has expanded into a hole that's the size of a quarter after two washings and expect that they will last ... MorePurchased this short at the local store a month previous to the online purchase (the store didn't have a medium). My fault or not, in the future I will buy apparel that will stand by their product whether it was purchased from a retailer or from the brand (i.e. Patagonia). Note that the no recommendation is less about the short and more about Under Armour.
I bought these shorts during lockdown as I had started to do more walking & jogging and I don’t regret the purchase. They’re very comfortable with built in tights. There’s a mobile phone pouch built into the right hand pocket that easily accommodates an iPhone and you can run/walk with confidence knowing it’s safe and secure. These shorts fit true and give a great range of movement with maximum comfort. I’ll be investing in another couple of these for sure.
These are amazing for working out or running. I thought they might be too short, but as it turns out they’re perfect in length. They are fitted and the way it’s designed, the back of the shorts allow ventilation and are ever so slightly longer than the front. I would recommend washing in cold and hang drying. Dryers can be rough on this material.
Good shorts. Comes with built in “jocks” making them feel fairly tight - in a good way - so not worried about them falling down.Only things I would change would be to have a hidden pocket in the waist for a key. As usual with a lot of these activewear shorts, the pockets can dip a bit too much in that they are visible below the end of the shorts if you have anything in them.
