I play sports year round, and use heat gear in the spring and fall. In the winter when the temperatures drop, this thicker compression layer is perfect for playing sports in the cold. But it is not limited to athletics. If you need a base layer for cold weather camping, this would also work very well. I always size up in underarmor fitted shirts, and this is no different.

Fits true to size, just follow the sizing chart, it's accurate. Tried this out on a just below-freezing day with windchill. Was warm and cozy. Has just the right amount of stretch and compression. Didn't itch nor could I feel the seams. It's snug without being too tight, just the right level of fit. Good base layer for winter sports.FYI, also got the equivalent leggings but had to size up according to the sizing guide (a surprise since I am usually matched in sizing for top and bottom).

I bought this to use riding my mountain bike, camping, and playing golf in the winter. I use it as a base layer and works really well. It kept me warm in the 20F night temps camping and during the day while doing other activities. It must have handled sweat well as I don't even remember it being an issue. I'm strange in that I will sweat a lot yet still be cold. I didn't have that issue with this on. I also got the compression leggings to go with them. Definitely worth it to me.
I bought this shirt for my son for football and it is awesome!! It fits comfortably under his football equipment and it holds up to all the falls & slides during a football game. It wicks away the sweat and keeps him warm throughout the game!!! I highly recommend this shirt if your looking for warmth & comfort.
Bought this to settle whether or not the newer generation of ColdGear is effective after reading mixed reviews online. This one can get quite warm when layered. I don't think it's the greatest by itself for indoor workouts, the fuzzy lining feels gross when you get very sweaty from a heavy workout but that's me.
I do Crossfit in an unheated garage, temps are frequently around 40. This top keeps me warm once I start working out but not so much that I feel overheated or breakout in a drenching sweat. The top has good range of motion, doesn't seem to restrict movement. Size seems a little smaller compared to previous Under Armor purchases a couple years ago.
The is the best cold gear shirts. I prefer these over the newer versions. Great fit, keeps me warm in cooler temps. I like the tshirt feels it gives when I’m wear something over it.
Bought this for cold weather lacrosse for under uniforms, it’s perfect. Keeps the wind off you and still warm while not absorbing the sweat. Boys are 15 and 17yo 6ft/175, mens medium fit perfect
This is a slim fit size so size up if you want some looseness. I did and sleeves are still a litlle bit tight but it's ok. Otherwise good baselayer for snowboard or ski, not for high output activities since obviously the dense fabric will not wick sweat as easily as a a thin base layer
