I've come to expect dependable use of my Under Armour cold gear, and this long-sleeve mock top is no exception. The material is soft, yet durable, the look is incredible sporty and sleek, and the top fits just right for all the types of activities you could expect to do in it. I just wore it for my long run over the weekend and each and every mile felt more comfortable than the last. This mock top will serve my cold-weather outdoor activities this fall and winter season quite well. My advise is to buy ALL the colors, as you never know what style your activity will call for.

ColdGear (Base 1.0?) is just the right weight for moderate to high activity, and it breathes well too. It fits close enough to seal drafts out, but not so tight it pinches or pulls. The drop-tail hem provides more protection when bending over, without bunching in the front. At 5'10" and 145lbs, I got the Small. Sleeve length is often an issue I have, but not here- the sleeves are long enough to avoid cold wrists, but not so long they hang below a midlayer or bunch up. This is an excellent base layer for cold weather hunting . All day sits in sub 40 degree weather are no problem . Had my brother try a pair on his last hunt in Ohio,temps in the 20's.. He now has 3 sets .. Nice snug fit, great insulating, moisture management is excellent. Should be a mainstay in every hunters clothing arsenal..

I play a lot of golf in cold weather and these shirts are perfect to wear under jackets or shirts. I usually wear a large shirt, but need an XL in these as they are compression shirts and fit very snug. Always order a size up. The mock turtleneck also keeps its form very well, unlike cheaper mocks. In addition to them keeping you nice and warm, the next best thing I can say is that I have six of these shirts (in four different colors). They are that good.
Great for Winter, long waist and sleeves, tucks in pants keeping one warmer. The Fitted version is much better than Compressed, I had a Compressed version in my closet for ten years never wore it, too tight. These don't restrict movement and you don't burn up either. I bought three of them, you don't see them available very much, buy when you can...
This mock neck is so nice, I bought two more after the first one. It is a great base layer, is comfortable, warm, and looks nice. The fit around the neck is good. The only complaint is the fit on the forearms could be a little looser, but it did not detract from buying more. I wore it on a hike, during a cool, wet day, under another pullover and a light UA storm jacket, and it was perfect.

A few years ago I purchased my first sets of cold gear outwear. Over the past two years I've made multiple purchases due to my current physical fitness routine outside. It fits perfectly my other under amour products. One of the things that I noticed is that they have finally offered tall sizes in the mocks and certain t-shirts. I purchased this shirt primarily for wearing it as an under shirt for umpiring baseball. This shirt makes a great base layer for those cold and windy days on the baseball field in Kansas. Very comfortable. Again, UA tends to run a little on the small side, so you may want to get 1 size bigger than you usually wear.
I put this compression base layer to a test with a cold fall day playing outdoor tennis, temp is around 5C, I put on top of the base layer a T-shirt and a windbreaker. After 10minutes, I removed the windbreaker as my body started to warming up.I continued for the remaining hour without the windbreaker and felt not cold at all which is good what I am looking for.My size is Chest=42.5" Waist=38", it feels tight but I guess that is the whole purpose of a compression layer, I feel my movement was not hindered so for sure I will use this for running and cross country skiing. I check the "True to size" question by "It runs small" as it fits the purpose of a compression layer, it is not a negative thing.
