It's absurdly thin. I can see my finger through the fabric. It also fits very loose/baggy, unlike other types of Under Armour shirts. I don't understand how or why this shirt is so highly rated. Were I to so much as brush up against a thorn while doing yard work, the shirt would tear instantly and be ruined. If the cat scratched me, the shirt would be toast. At some point, Under Armour must've changed suppliers and/or tried to save money on the fabric.

It's okay for working out. The quality is fine. I've owned several shirts is this class: a few from UnderArmour, including previous versions of this shirt, and similar from Patagonia, Marmot, and Brooks. My biggest complaint is that fabric could be a little stretchier and the fit. Size-wise, I'm about 150lbs and 5'9", slim build. Ideally, I'd take an XS in this shirt, but the neck is too small to get on and off comfortably. The Small is a little loose, etc.On a positive note, the member return process at Altitude Sports was fantastic.

I was expecting these shirts to be slightly thicker. They are very thin material. They are also very cheap so I guess thin is to be expected. I like that its a cotton polyester blend. I like them and would buy again. Would for sure pay a bit more for the same product with heavier weight. I also like that they are not covered in logos.

I recently bought my brother-in-law the Men's Under Armour Tech 2.0 T-Shirt and he absolutely loves it! The fabric is lightweight and breathable, so it's perfect for workouts and hot summer days. It wicks away moisture, keeping him cool and dry. My brother-in-law is a golfer and he said it's the perfect shirt for the sport. He loves the fit and the comfortable feel of the material. I highly recommend this shirt and I'm sure he'll be wearing it all summer long!
I agree with others who have experienced inconsistencies from color to color. I tried on the black which fit perfectly and assumed the other colors would fit the same so also purchased 3 in white, same size. The white not only are more snug but the fabric has a different feel---not as stretchy, a bit stiff, and the stitching around the collar scratches my neck. Unfortunately by the time I realized all this I had already laundered the shirts so there was no possibility to return them.Overall, it feels like the quality is not as good as with Under Armor shirts I've bought in the past. Feels like they're focused on cost-cutting.
I bought this shirt specifically for the color, but could not hang on to it for various reasons. The fabric feels cheap and is scratchy against my skin. Also the shirt is not long enough for me. The common theme seems to be that UA is cutting costs and as a result the product quality has dropped. I never had one of the earlier iterations of this shirt, but I certainly know how a training/exercise shirt should feel. I was hoping for better than what I read by the other reviewers, but save your money!
I'm an old retired guy and these shirts, which seem athletic and more aligned with a younger, fitter crowd (see model in photo), are really perfect for guys like me. They are lightweight, cool to wear in hot weather, don't stain easily or hold odors, water-wicking (including sweat), and dry very quickly if they do get wet. They are stretchy and don't bind you when moving around. If you have an athletic form, get a normal size to show off your buff self. If you're built more like me, get a size larger so it is loose and comfy. The shirts come in a variety of colors which can match nicely with whatever pants, sweaters, etc, you might enjoy wearing. For the above reasons, these shirts are my go-to wear most every morning. Highly recommend.
I bought 3 of these shirts just before Christmas as they were on sale for about $18 each. On the plus side, they look good and fit well. The colours are accurate. But I'm not a big fan of the fabric. In my opinion they are NOT ultra soft or natural feeling as the product information describes. The inside tags say they are 100% polyester, so that pretty much says it all. They're really a 2 1/2 star shirt that I'll bump up to 3 stars because of the sale price, but in my opinion the DSG branded Movement shirts are much better for around the same price.
I have exclusively worn UA Heat Gear tee shirts for all my runs, hikes, workouts for many many many years. Always been the best. Always recommend to my friends. Still have several old shirts. Bought these to replace my aging shirts. The quality is very disappointing and notice that long time customers voice the same concerns in other forums. Seems there has been a change in material since Covid. First, it does not say Heat Gear anywhere on the product. Second the collar opening is very wide and hangs open when wet. Third and most important it is extremely thin (not much material). You can actually see through the shirt to the logo on the other side. You can see all body parts and skin. When it becomes wet in the humid south it seems to absorb water like a cotton ... MoreI have exclusively worn UA Heat Gear tee shirts for all my runs, hikes, workouts for many many many years. When it becomes wet in the humid south it seems to absorb water like a cotton shirt and also sticks to the body like a fitted piece of wrapping paper. I have either returned or donated all these shirts and am using my old UA shirts. Cannot find a UA shirt that seems to be more like the old one. Hate to consider another brand but may not have an option.
The Under Armour t-shirt is a solid choice for those in need of a basic, functional tee. The fabric is lightweight and breathable, making it comfortable to wear during exercise or on a hot day. The fit is true to size and the material has held up well after several washes. However, the design is fairly plain and lacks any standout features. Overall, this t-shirt is a decent option for those seeking a simple and reliable piece of activewear.
