Another Project Rock tick

Comparable to the other Rock shoes nice and sturdee with good support for weight training but light enough for a HITT workout. The orange is bold enough to catch the eye but muted enough to not scream look at me (like the red ones do). I was worried these would be too small but run true to size. Always measure your feet when buying shoes online!

These shoes are what you'd expect given the previous iterations performance and feel. The padding on the inner heel/ankle helps give a better lock and add stability in the ankles, the base is as solid as before, giving a stable platform for any heavy lifting you'll be doing in the gym. The new laces are standard style laces instead of the strings in the previous series, they don't cut circulation if you want them a little tight, but they may come undone easier if you only tie them single knot. the elastic sock on the ankle of the shoe is tapered down around the ankle giving more movement, but this doesn't cause any instability.Overall these are great shoes if you are into training in the gym with a focus on weightlifting.

Definitely a Shoe to be Recommended!

Excellent stable shoes for the gym
18 July 2021

The fit of the shoes even for a wide foot is excellent in this shoe even for a wider foot (just go half a size up). There is plenty of room for your toes to spread in the toebox. The slight heel raise and also the Achilles support is excellent. Very comfortable in this department. If the heel raise was increased to 12 mm I would think this would be better for most people lifting and short distance running/sprints.I do like the stable base that this gives for squats and also deadlifts. Its not bad for running although it is slippery in the wet, so do be careful there. You will be unable to fit any custom orthotics in here as there will not be enough room in the shoe and you are unable to remove any lining.

Great Training Shoe
7 September 2020

Project Rock 3 is for me nicer than the project Rock 2. Project Rock 2 something about that shoe wasn't good with my ankles. This one doesn't have this issue. Much more stable and I think is better if you want to do agility training. The issue like with most Under Armour shoes is sizing. Under Armour is very bad with not only these but other products when it comes to sizing. Here is my advice. If you love a tight fit in your workout shoes go to your true size.If you need more room go up half a size and worst case I say go up a full size. Do try them on before you purchase so you can see if it is the right fit.Not much of an upgrade from the PR2 when it comes to comfort everything else I think it is better. The laces are too long another Under Armour shoe ... MoreProject Rock 3 is for me nicer than the project Rock 2. Not Delta but its another experience
16 September 2020

The fit: In the beginning it was uncomfortable but slowly it grows on you. I suggest getting a size upPros: It gives stability and a grip from the heel and bottom of the feet. Did Leg Press with this and I should say I was amazed by the support.Cons: The sizing.I own a Delta shoe for almost 3 years and its still strong , I changed to this cause it was difficult to run with and do my boxing bag workout. However this is lighter and gives you lot of room at the ankles. For those with feet problems like me, this shoe works well.Oh yes , if you wear socks for your workout, lose them, cause the Shoe has like an inner sock.

Not sure. Didn’t get to wear them
9 November 2021

I purchased the blue color online in the size I should wear. When they arrived and I opened the box the shoes were placed like someone had already had them on. The shoelaces were untied and loosened. There seemed to be wear on the bottom and side of the shoe. I tried them on and they were a bit snug. I decided to return to the store due to the look of them being used already and the not right fit. Unfortunately, they did not have the next size up so I was not able to exchange for a different size. I’m hopeful that they will return in the size I need and I can purchase in store so I can see and try before I buy.

Relatively Comfortable....Enough Lace Material to Satisfy Sasquatch.

There were a number of other shoppers ogling these shoes and for the first few minutes on your feet—they ticked a lot of boxes: easy-on-sock like construction, very flexible and breathable fabric.Where the shoes will let you down is in two key areas: the footbed and the funky vamp. The footbed is integrated into the shoe and although it is padded; this material will wear out quickly—rendering the shoe useless. You will notice this after a couple of hours of walking around the house. The design/construction of the vamp is very contemporary which is great to look at—not so great when it comes to functionality. It slips on like a breeze but from there it’s all downhill. The shoes don’t retain any rigidity and can feel sloppy after just a few minutes. What is ... MoreThere were a number of other shoppers ogling these shoes and for the first few minutes on your feet—they ticked a lot of boxes: easy-on-sock like construction, very flexible and breathable fabric.Where the shoes will let you down is in two key areas: the footbed and the funky vamp. The footbed is integrated into the shoe and although it is padded; this material will wear out quickly—rendering the shoe useless. The shoes don’t retain any rigidity and can feel sloppy after just a few minutes. What is particularly irksome about these shoes is the ratio of eyelets to lace length. There are 5 standard eyelets as well a one on the tongue and yet the laces are so long that it’s inconceivable to imagine who or why anyone would think an additional 15.5” of lace material to tie it off. There’s nothing in the tread to give you the impression that these are a highly engineered shoe....and there’s a reason for that. Because they aren’t. The is very little value unless you absolutely have to have a bull icon on the shoe or simply can’t resist the urge to put the bull logo sticker on your skateboard (?)“Blood, Sweat, RESPECT” is the supposed motto here. Respectfully decline and find a better made pair of shoes.

Simply awesome
18 January 2021

These Project Rock training shoes are absolutely amazing in all aspects, from the looks, to the feel, to the performance. They fit like a glove and feel like you're walking on powerful clouds, like those reserved for Greek Gods. I hope those in charge at UA don't change these too much for the impending release, as these shoes are just about perfect. Snap them up while you still can!PS - The customer service team, particularly Rhona, were great to deal with and probably deserve a raise.Forever UA. Thanks.

This shoe wears down really easy
15 July 2021

I received these shoes 2 months ago. I have been using them everyday since. Just yesterday I put them in the wash to get some marks out. After the shoe was washed I started to notice some of the shoe was coming apart. This has never happened to be before and I have owned many pairs of UA shoes. It was not the first issue I noticed. When I inspected the shoe on arrival I saw a brown ring around the gray area where The Rock insignia was.I am disappointed at Ducks for giving me a poor version of this shoe.
