Another fantastic product
14 October 2024Mens UA Reign

Finally got my Men's UA Reign 6 Training Shoe size 12’s in. Nothing but amazing. Had the Reign’s for years now. Each reproduction of the shoe brings another element of surprise to enrich the experience of owning a pair. Tighter heel lock, perfectly sized fit, rugged sole at the base and how it forms up the side of the shoe for rope climbing, solid sturdy flat base for heavy lifts, even comfortable interior for running! 💯 I’d recommend these to any CrossFit enthusiast who’s leveled up enough to compete! These shoes will withstand whatever weight training, cardio training, or any other wild workout ideas you can muster up. Highly recommended!

Bought these while looking for barefoot style shoes for the gym like Vivos but they’re so expensive. Came across these new ones from UA. I always buy UA runners so thought I’d give these a go for something flatter after reading some reviews here. These are AWESOME.Got a size 10, fits perfectly true to size and fits my wide foot! These have a great wide toe box and were the comfiest shoes the whole first hour I wore them training legs. Wore them at work after too cause they were so good and look good too (Black and Tan). Excited to have a solid flat training shoe for the gym.

Best reign model to date honestly! No regrets at all for this purchase they offer a wide enough toe box to where my toes were not getting compressed gave them enough space to feel a super stable base when doing deadlifts or any Olympic lifting. Will buy another pair! Best shoes UA has made in a LONG time. Getting back to focus on what the consumer wants a dang good shoe that is durable and breathable! Will say the gum or tan sole color is different in person than in picture it is a little darker in person that is the only con but even though it doesnt matter. Keep it up UA move back in the right direction! I did have to size down to an 11.5 just because this shoe is actually made right. I usually wear a 12 for my wideish feet but these took care of that.

Comfortable shoe that runs a little large
13 July 2024

The colors for the fluorescent yellow at back sole of is quite dull and washed out. The website picture is quite misleading with its colors for both the main sole and fluro back. Shoe runs on the larger side (in my case comparting Size 15 to other same size sneakers and trainers). Unfortunately, there is no 1/2 sizes at the upper range and not sure if running large would also translate to lower sizes either, I'd recommend 1/2 size down as the shoe is not stiff and can accommodate a tighter fit if I'm wrong. Little disappointed with color range and size availability being vastly different in countries outside of Australia at official UA websites, there are some nicer color options elsewhere, but shipping is prohibitive. Outside of that, the shoes are comfortable and flexible, so it feels like it’s hugging the foot well. Your foot slips into the rear of the shoe very well and it has a generous finger latch to pull it up. Very low / no drop on the sole is exactly what I was looking for making it great for various activities. Cushioning is good, but only time will tell how this shoe holds up over the next 12 months. Would recommend

Excellent shoes for training
21 July 2024

I have had 6 different Tribase Reign models (2,4, and now 6). I truly feel the 6 is the best model to date that I have owned. Very low to ground feel that good for explosivness through the legs. I think the laces are a tad too short. Still usable but I would have like 1 in longer. Show is very natural feeling with the flexibility you gain through the foot. The shoes overall fits well but i can detect a VERY minor heel slip. Nothing most ppl will notice but I'm hyper sensitive to it. A little more padding in the heal counter would resolve that.

Finally a wider toe box!
11 February 2024

I struggled with previous versions of the Reign because they were too narrow for my feet. I’ve always really liked the designs and the shoe but they were always too tight on the sides. These ones fit different than previous versions I’ve worn. They’re also a lower cut so there is no rubbing on the ankle. I’ve only been wearing them for a few weeks still breaking them in a bit. They feel really tight to ground for squats and deadlifts but still pliable enough to be worn for movement. They are good on the treadmill for warm ups but I wouldn’t run long distance with them I would go with a proper runner. But they seem to be designed for lifting anyway and they are great for that. Think they really got it right with these.

Great Leg Day Shoes
13 August 2024

I have previously only worn Nike Metcons, so decided to give UA Reign 6 a whirl after reading and watching some very positive reviews. Everything I read was true. These are comfortable if you like minimal heal-toe drop, providing excellent balance when doing squats and leg presses. I found the upper quality durable and breathable, which is perfect for Asia, and the grip is much better than that of Nike. I have yet to run in them but I suspect they are similar to the Metcons... ie... you don't run in them!!! The only issue I found was that the toe box is very spacious. I have medium feet, and my feet swell up during summer, but I still found that my toes have a bit more wriggle room than I prefer. The lockdown was solid. Great pair of training shoes
21 March 2024

These are surprisingly comfortable and well designed shoes. I wore them to work the whole day and then went to train at night and they were very comfortable throughout. I have a habit of not wearing socks when I train where possible so I can intentionally monitor my foot movement and the way my weight shifts in certain holds or squats. I particularly like this pair as there is enough space in the toe box for my toes to move around and it is still flat enough for me to consciously engage the big toe and foot arch when needed. Very happy with them and considering a second pair in a different colour - pith that the men's colours are more exciting!

More Enjoyable Than My Mccon 8
29 March 2024

This is honestly my first pair of UA shoes that I have purchased. They fit true to size (I wear an 11 in other brand athletic shoes and ordered a size 11 in the Reign 6) and I have been using them for my gym workout sessions over the past couple of weeks where I normally wear my Mccons. These shoes have a wider toe box and midsection compared to my Mccons. I have average width and relatively flat feet, and these are more comfortable enough for me to wear for long sessions. I can warm up with cardio without my arches hurting. The transition from flexible toe box to sturdy heel isn't drastic and still leaves me confident for squats and deadlifts on leg days and light cardio. Overall, this shoe is a winner in the gym for me so much that I've already bought a second ... MoreThis is honestly my first pair of UA shoes that I have purchased. More comfortable, cushioned, and the laces stay secure better than my Mccon 8s.

The 6's are LEGIT!
19 January 2024

Okay, I've worn these for the past two weeks and I think they deserve a review. Here it goes - (I've worn reign models 3-5 btw) Solid stability for deadlifts and squats but still has plenty of flex in the forefoot for lunges and sled pushes. The new upper feels really secure and provides that locked in feeling that a lot of my other training shoes lack. The TOE BOX and overall width of the shoe has been perfect for my slightly wider feet with no spilling over (finally). The rubber outsole is super grippy on rubber gym flooring, turf, and wood lifting platforms. Running cardio - I rarely do it so can't speak that part of the shoe! This review I found helped me make my decision: https://youtu.be/dvFa_Nmeqrk?si=EhIuBprt3LbiBYbPOverall, I'm pleasantly surprised with ... MoreOkay, I've worn these for the past two weeks and I think they deserve a review.
