Rich, black ink that last longer than most fineliner pens. The nib also wears nicely, although that really depends on how rough of paper you use. Other pen brands are twice the price and the nibs give out way too quickly. These pens are completely waterproof and I like to combine them with a brush pen. Thanks Dick Blick for carrying these pens!

Uni Pin is known as being one of the most popular fineliners, and for good reason - it's dark on paper, smooth to draw with, and not overly expensive. I use the brush tip and the line variation I get is crazy! I'll definitely need to buy a whole set of line widths for the full experience, but with one pen I'm set for now!

Having learned drafting and drawing with refillable ink pens, I didn't know that the 0.1 size was even possible. I am really impressed with the fineness of the line and what it allows me to accomplish.

this is SO SO SMALL you can fit a ton of doodles on a 5"x5" sticky note pad, great for on the go! Of course you can use it for detailing. Unless you're working microscopic, this will be perfect for the job.I was skeptical that this diameter was even possible, and I haven't measured the line weight, but it creates a really nice thin line.I think it's better than a Pigma Micron; I like the way it glides across the paper. The barrel feels a tad plasticky, and might be kinda slippery feeling, but I honestly don't mind because it's so small and that's what I want.
I use these pens to ink in projects I have drawn. Compared to two other brands I have used, these are by far the best. The ink is smooth flowing and the design of the pens are comfortable to hold onto. GREAT product!!!
It is amazing how this pen is offered at such an affordable price. I purchased the brush tip, 0.05, and 0.1 nibs. They write smooth and precisely. The Unipin barrel is slightly wider than the Molotow and Sakura Micron, and this added weight makes for a less strenuous grip. The brush nip is really sturdy and transitions well between thick and thin lines. I would definitely buy these again.
I started with Prismacolor and Staedtler when I leaned about microns. Then dedicated to Sakura micron and now was introduced to Unipin. I love how smooth and dark they are in comparison (Copic multi-liner is its competitor imo). They do seem slightly more delicate vs Sakura so treat them accordingly. They dry great for water-based artwork and I find their smaller nibs to perform better than others (so far). Don't be shy to pick up some individual pens. Especially during sales.
I have tried all sorts of pens for drawing and watercolors. These are by far the best because they start out smooth and stay that way day after day. Others, and some more expensive, did not have the same quality. These are on my list for Santa!
Uni has outdone themselves with these fineliners. These are the only pens I'll be using from now on. I've tried Sakura, Copic and Faber Castell and I've gotta say, Uni comes in miles above them. The ink is incredibly solid and waterproof, there's virtually no smudging and dry time happens in literally a second, the pens are incredibly smooth with no drag at all and are comfortable to work with. I've gotta thank Blick as well for the timely delivery and care that they provide in shipping!
I use these pens everyday for Urban sketching. Love that they are waterproof and work well under and over my watercolors.
