Bought the 4th and 5th for our work. Works great. Managed to set frequency thus less interuption from other users outside our working team. Light and no issue using it under the rain.
This is small and is the only one that can be charged using a micro usb. Awsome hand held radio. Danny
Bought this UHF Radio for work and it the best you can get for value. The radio works well and is very clear, it doesn't have heaps of noise when others talk, it's very easy to operate and the battery last more then 12 hours on low power
I expected better quality from a Japanese company but was disappointed with the old look and the feel. The range that they advertised is nowhere near to what it was in the field.
We live and work on a 40 hectare kiwi fruit orchard/farm with terrible cell service, so I bought these so I can call home or I give one of them to my kids while they are quading to let us know if they get stuck.The 2 watt radios are powerful i can hear perfectly from the back of farm + they are loud enough to hear someone calling ..( I was mulching branches on a tractor full noise with ear muffs on and I still heard it.. obviously slowed tractor down so I could talk back)Wasn’t keen to pay $300+ for them but happy with the product in the end.
I brought this product about 3mths ago for traffic control work. It's a handy radio that has decent coverage and clear reception. The only issue I've had is that it can be a little finicky on higher channels and the 's' button is WAY to close to the 'talk' button. Otherwise great radio
Used this radio for communication between cars on a recent trip and found it to be easy to hear which is important to me as I am into my 60s and my hearing is not good. It was easy to use and appeared to have good battery life.
