I am getting a refund typical Chinese Open up Page 3 of the manual tells me nothing will work until I buy a battery charger , extra , plus waiting time . A mobile without a charger Get real Junk worth nothing. Not worth any stars Cannot use them.I want my refund Have a good day Brad

Bought camera in June 2021. After using for about two weeks the battery went dead.Since then have been charging it every three or four days far cry from the 180 days.The camera is located in a quite spot and some features turned off to say battery.Have tried leaving against a blank wall and this did not fix it.Will be taking this back to job hifi for a replacement. Not fit for purpose.

Uniden don't let you download the full res video from the camera to your phone via the app. You will need to get the SD card out of camera and manually copy the files every time you want the full video. This is bad. They did this to push people into paying for a cloud subscription. Uniden decided their paid cloud is the only way you are allowed to retrieve the original video from your own camera, other than physically removing the SD card.If you don't pay for the cloud backup, the intruder could simply take your camera which contains the only copy of the original video.You might be fine being notified on your phone as it happens. You could then save a low-res copy of the video before the intruder takes your camera. Further more, I could not get the email alerts to work with this Solo cam. The test email works, so the email configuration is fine, but nothing is sent when motion is detected.Bottom line is that it might be okay for your needs, but if you want a reliable system with backup to your own cloud provider, or your local NAS, then look elsewhere. I would never recommend paying the camera manufacturer for cloud backup services.
