With age 90 coming next year , and hearing and eyesight not as good when I was 60 plus living on my own, my large family are pleased I can make contact much easier, their numbers are on the fridge in big letters for their peace of mind. Bernard Matthews.
I bought it for my Mum and she is happy with it. It is easy enough to use and the sound feature is quite good for older people.
The phone is excellent for those with hearing and sight problems, although the instruction manual could be a little clearer regarding the removal of messages via the cordless handset (the flashing light was very disturbing for my mother). As she had previously an older model, the newest model is slightly different but she is working it out. An excellent product for the elderly - the boost facility on the handset is wonderful and works really well with hearing aids.
This is the second phone I have purchased on eBay the same manufacturer, different model both have sounded "tinney". I don't know if all the products are the same. Not particularly happy .

Things need changing for the elderly generation.The main let-downs I found are :- 1) Once you have entered names and numbers into the phone book you can not click Phone book key and go straight to the list. You have to do three more key pushes before you get the list. 2) People have reported to me the the Audio quality when I use the speaker set up is very weak, hard to hear and is very tinny sounding. It's complicated to set up. My elderly parents don't like it at all. Seems like I have wasted my money as they aren't comfortable in using it.
Product was amazing in volume, loud ringer, and clearer speech. If my father likes it everyone else will love it. I recommend this phone for all older people.
