The Universal Audio Heavenly Plate Reverb is a new compact offering in their stompbox effect series. Derived from UA's flagship Golden Reverberator, the Heavenly offers three modes of 1950s style plate reverb in a simple to use package. On the face of the pedal are controls for decay, mix, predelay, EQ, and modulation. Via three-way toggle the user can select a style of plate reverb, each with different characteristics. Mode A resembles an vintage, brighter plate with shorter decay. Mode B is also an older plate style, this time with a darker, more muted tone and longer decay. Mode C is a modern plate type with an overall even frequency range, longer decay, and natural warble. The Heavenly reverb features a simple single mono input and output, selectable trails(buffered) or true bypass, and two-way modulation speed option. On the side, the Heavenly is equipped with a USB-C input for communication with the UA Connect app via computer for product registration and firmware update.
