I spent over an hour comparing this unit against the Revolution Flex 3.0 and the Alterrain Pro models in an actual store. They are so similar comparing price and features and it’s difficult if you are making this purchase without getting to test them in person, so hopefully this review will help someone. There are some key differences I noted, and after playing with them all, I purchased the UPPAbaby Ridge and am happy with my purchase.-The wheels are easy to remove. You push the center part of the wheel and it slides off.-The brake is easy to operate. The front wheel locks straight with the push of a button-The seat reclines very easy. I liked the sliding strap better on the Ridge compared to other strollers.-The cargo storage bin is bigger in the UPPAbaby Ridge. It also has a zipper but also a magnetic flap at the end. I liked the storage area way better compared to the other strollers. The other strollers either had no cover to the storage bin or they had a full zipper cover. The magnetic flap is a nice touch for reaching in to quickly grab something near the front.-The biggest difference is the ability to fold this stroller. The UPPAbaby Ridge is hands down the easiest to operate. You flip up a flap near the footrest and squeeze and rotate the handle and the stroller folds down and is self standing. The other strollers were much more difficult to fold down. They were either a two step process, or the handle was janky and hard to grip and twist.-This stroller had better accessories. There is a reversible seat liner and a cup holder attachment. The cup holder snaps in and is very high quality/sturdy.-The stroller folds flat even with the add on cup holder.-The canopy is a nice material. I liked it better than the material on the other strollers.-The fabric on this stroller can easily be removed and washed. The other strollers did not have removable fabric.-My only criticism of the stroller is the safety belt. I like the other models where you can unclasp the shoulder harness part and just use the lap belt.-You can still unhook the shoulder strap, but you have to use a T knot to tie the strap to use just the lap belt.-Final note: some of the reviews for the other strollers complained that the brakes did not work out of the box. The UPPAbaby Ridge worked smooth and was perfectly adjusted right out of the box. It took less than 5 min to put together, all you do is attach the wheels and it’s ready to go.Overall I’m happy with my purchase!

The perfect place to store my valuables and baby essentials. The one handed fold is really easy and the stroller folds up nicely, the only drawback being it's still quite large in size when folded especially with the large wheels so I cannot fit it in the boot of my car. This is the only reason I gave this product four stars instead of five. You can however remove the wheels quite easily to help it fit into the car but it's a bit of a faff when you're in a hurry! For me, this was a small compromise for a quality and sturdy all terrain buggy.Highly recommended!

I purchased a BOB Alterrain Pro Jogging stroller to try before finding this Uppababy Ridge. While the BOB was superior as far as product materials goes, the functionality of it left much to be desired. I did not like the BOB's stiff-hand brake or how heavy/bulky the stroller is. I also wasn't thrilled that I would have to bring a tire pump and worry about air pressure, replacing tire tubes, etc.The Uppababy Ridge is very easy to fold, a few pounds lighter than the BOB (probably because of the lighter (plastic) materials used), has a responsive hand-brake system, and I like that you don't have to pull your foot up (dorsiflex) to unlock the foot brake because I don't want to damage my shoes. No confusion about whether the brake is locked or unlocked either. I also ... MoreI purchased a BOB Alterrain Pro Jogging stroller to try before finding this Uppababy Ridge. Fantastic all terrain stroller!

It is quick to fold up and the zip pocket and drinks holder are great additions. The handlebars are comfortable to use and can be easily adjusted. The braking system feels very safe and is accessible with foot or hands for quick activation. The storage in the Ridge is far more accessible than you get with other pushchairs. A quick lift of the elastic fastener and it has a significant amount of storage space. It also includes some additional pockets, one of which we use for the accompanying rain cover. It is effortless to push so we now use it for a lot more trips where we would have taken a stroller in the car. I would highly recommend the Ridge and it has totally exceeded all expectations!

Great for running

Everything about this pram has a premium feel. Installation was straightforward. It was easy to slot in the wheels. Their weight and balance made them feel more like bike wheels than pram wheels. There are nice touches with magnetic sealing of things like the foot cushion. A really nice touch is the under pram storage being covered.Once I got the knack of folding and unfolding it was very quick and easy to set up. When folded it seems bulkier than my other pram and I found it quite wide in general.Regarding the handling, it fared well over rough terrain. It felt faster than our other pram and was lighter to push. The brakes work very effectively and the pram has a great turning circle. It's worth noting when the front wheel is locked the turning circle increases, but it's steadier in straight lines, which is great for running. With a coffee cup in hand my partner thought it was harder to push one handed.Baby sits at an incline which can't be more upright, but can be lowered easily when napping.Plus this pram only has a forward facing configuration which makes sense for running but I would like an option to have a facing me position if we're on long shopping trips. This pram enabled me to go for my first run as a Mum, which was liberating as the baby slept the whole way. The UPPAbaby Ridge was very easy to push and as I'm tall it's good to note that the height of the handlebars in the top position felt really comfortable. I loved the wrist strap, brakes, handy mobile and bottle storage, plus a lot of love for the window on the rain cover. It's those details that really set this pram apart.

Great jogging stroller
31 March 2023

I really enjoy this stroller as a jogger. It's lightweight and easy to control. Both the hand-held and pedal breaks work very well. There's a slight sound that comes from my left wheel due to the metal disk being ever so slightly misaligned, but it's not a big deal at all. It folds well, but the mechanism you have to press and turn to enable folding can be finicky at times. Regardless, this is a wonderful stroller.Note: this is NOT the recalled version, but the updated model after that

Our Favorite Stroller
31 July 2022

I wanted a jogging stroller that would also serve as an all terrain stroller with minimal maintenance and found this stroller checked all the boxes! My little one seems content in it from sidewalk runs to bumpy tree root-filled trails, although I didn't get this until he was about 9 months old so not sure how I would feel with a smaller babe in it. The cupholder and top zipper pouch for keys and phone is an excellent design. I love that I don't have to worry about ever getting a flat tire, have an easy to use handbrake, and separate break and go pedals. I actually prefer it as my go-to stroller for everyday use.

Overcomes any terrain!
10 November 2022

The ridge is absolutely perfect for anyone who goes over a multitude of terrains. It goes over train tracks, rocky paths, gravel roads, potholes, you name it - it goes over as smooth as possible! Our baby girl didnt even budge when we went over any of these surfaces. Not to mention, how easy it is to turn and change directions in this stroller! It is a bit bulky when we add our carseat (nuna pipa) but its amazing!

Removing the wheels to fit it into a smaller boot might be a bit of a chore.-When using it with the carrycot, I actually found that I couldn't see baby's face in the carrycot when pushing the buggy. The push handle puts you a little bit further back from the buggy, meaning I needed to walk round to the side to check all was well.-There is no parent-facing seat option. I think this is a lovely feature particularly for around 6-18 months of age so you can interact with your child while you are out and about. This was one of the biggest issues with the buggy for me.-It feels like a very large (both long and wide) buggy considering it can only take one child. Unlike other travel systems which would have a similar weight and footprint, there is no option to convert to a double and there is no built in buggyboard. Both of these features are really handy for families who have two children close in age. Additionally, my older child couldn't hold the frame of the buggy and walk alongside it due to where the wheels sit on the chassis.I think this buggy would suit a family who like the outdoors, have plenty of space to store it and a big boot, plus don't mind carrying a heavy frame. It wouldn't be a good choice for families with two children close in age, a small car or families who use public transport often.

So much rougher than a Bob
21 May 2022

We sold our Bob stroller before we had our most recent baby. I decided to purchase this stroller rather than another bob because it was smaller and more maneuverable and I loved that I could use the bassinet attachment….. however I have been extremely disappointed in how rough the ride is on this. I’ve only used it walking on neighborhood streets and sidewalks. There is no way I could take it on a run or on any sort of gravel or off-road trail. I think this is due to the shorter frame and hard foam tires. Uppa tried to make it right and sent me new wheels but they didn’t help. I wish they would make an air filled tire option. I think that would help. I will be selling it and buying another Bob stroller once we are done with the bassinet phase.
