Excited to expand my Vista V2!

Our family is growing and we’re excited to be able to expand our stroller to accommodate two kids. The rumble seat is definitely smaller than the toddler seat. Comes with lower adapters specifically for the rumble. Have to purchase other lower adapters for bassinet and car seat and upper adapters to raise the top accessory. Our toddler is just under the weight and height limits for the rumble so he can still sit in it while baby goes on top. Expecting to switch them in a few months when toddler reaches those limits. Overall very happy but definitely had to consider if the combinations would work for us based on toddler being on top and infant on bottom.

Bought this for my 2017 uppa baby vista the older model. I had the old lower adapters but this comes with the new ones. At first I thought it didn’t fit because it doesn’t latch up higher like the whole brackets. You place them closer to the net and hooks up to a pin there. Works perfect and matches my old Gregory color.

Great but…

Great but it makes pushing your stroller much harder. Since I was buying to accommodate my 2year old and 3month old, older has to go in rumble seat which weighs down front making small bumps and cracks hard to get over. Also, if you are hoping to have the main seat facing you, you need to purchase an extender to make that possible with the rumble seat on the bottom.

Not for two kids unless they are twins
31 January 2021

We have a 2 yo and a 6 week old - the uppababy vista and v2 configuration only lets you have the toddler in the seat facing you and bassinet below (this means you cant see the new born and the toddler lacks the ability to see where you’re going, and the world generally) or the toddler in the front facing out in the rumble seat which has a weight limit of 35 lbs (my 2 yo is 34 lbs - tall not chubby!). the system is really made for twins and making it all work requires a tremendous amount of flexibility and accommodation that newborns and toddlers don’t afford most parents. Additionally, the ruble seat makes the whole thing squeak and the otherwise Cadillac like maneuvering feel VERY awkward. I am sure a sales person would have advised us to bug a different system but ... MoreWe have a 2 yo and a 6 week old - the uppababy vista and v2 configuration only lets you have the toddler in the seat facing you and bassinet below (this means you cant see the new born and the toddler lacks the ability to see where you’re going, and the world generally) or the toddler in the front facing out in the rumble seat which has a weight limit of 35 lbs (my 2 yo is 34 lbs - tall not chubby!). the system is really made for twins and making it all work requires a tremendous amount of flexibility and accommodation that newborns and toddlers don’t afford most parents. Pretty and fast shipping
7 April 2023

The shipping was super fast! I got my rumble seat in only a few days. The color “Stella” is so pretty. It’s a light/medium grey. It’s a softer fabric which seems nice. Hopefully it will be easy to clean. Super excited to use this!

Should have gotten this earlier

Admittedly, I am a bit overwhelmed by the ins and outs of strollers and carseats. Sometimes, there are so many options and configurations shown, you aren't sure what is right for the stroller you have. In fact, we have 4 (!!) strollers. So, after a lot of calling and research, here is what I learned about adding the Rumble Seat to the Vista:1. Uppa baby is awesome. They have thought of every detail on their strollers. In general, Uppas are easy to use, comfortable and user friendly. Only downside to Uppa baby? Not awesome for bumpy terrain, and a bit heavy to load in the car. Not a big deal, in my opinion.2. All Uppa Vista strollers (post 2015) come with a toddler seat and a bassinet. All Uppa Vistas (post 2015) can have a rumble seat added.3. A rumble seat looks almost exactly like the toddler seat that comes with the Vista stroller BUT- it only holds 35 lbs (vs 50), can only be added to the front of the Vista (not the top, keep that in mind that the smallest kid goes on the bottom), and does not have the adjustable food rest4. To add a rumble seat, first you buy $20 adapters for the toddler seat that came with the stroller. You pop off the todder seat. click the adapters into the spot the seat normally goes, pop the toddler seat back on. Voila, your toddler seat is now in the esact same spot, only abotu 4 inches higher in the air. This leaves room for the all mighty rumble seat at the bottom.5. The rumble seat comes with the clips you need to clip it onto your stroller. Two clips, one on each side- they clip right above the front wheels. Super easy. Then you pop the rumble seat on.6. I now use this stoller for a 3 year old on the top and a 9 month old in the bottom. We have a 2015 Vista Uppa, and a 2018 Rumble. Any rumble from 2015-2018 can work with any Vista 2015 or newer.Bottom line- game changer. Both kids strapped in, both kids happy, both kids strolling in the sun every day after work. Should have gotten this whole system sooner.

Stroller seat
21 December 2022

This seat accommodates up to a 35lb child. The younger child must always be farther away from you for almost all combinations with this stroller. If you have their car seat, you can have your baby close to and your older child, assuming they're 35 pounds or lighter, in this rumble seat. The bassinet cannot be used with this rumble seat (the bassinet and a seat can only be accommodated with the bassinet farther away from you and the toddler seat close to you). Lastly, it seems unnecessary to purchase an entirely separate seat when the stroller should be designed to have the toddler seat interchangeable to each position.

Very Smooth and sturdy, but lacks the space for 2
20 March 2020

I have to start by saying that I've wanted the Uppababy Stroller for 5 years, since I was pregnant with my first. Recently I was able to get the V2 with a rumble seat. It is extremely smooth and feels really sturdy handling my 2 year old ( 24lbs) and my 4 year old (42lbs), but I feel like there really isn't enough space for 2 children to ride and still maximize your storage basket. I was used to my Britax B-ready Stroller, although not as sturdy, I felt the Britax had more room, I could use my BOB stroller cup holder caddy and I could fold it with both seats still attached. So because I have to take the V2 apart to fold it and I can't use my cup holder caddy unless the top seat is forward facing, which i can't do because my 4 year olds feet do not fit forward facing ... MoreI have to start by saying that I've wanted the Uppababy Stroller for 5 years, since I was pregnant with my first. So because I have to take the V2 apart to fold it and I can't use my cup holder caddy unless the top seat is forward facing, which i can't do because my 4 year olds feet do not fit forward facing (rumble seat is in the way) that is why I gave it 3 stars. I am still happy with my purchase, I am just let down because I know what I am missing from my past stroller experiences. Also my biggest reason for this purchase is that the V2 has a higher seat limit for the toddler seat (50lbs), my britax was 55 lbs but dropped down to only 35lbs with the adaptor that I needed to use the second seat. I know there are side by side strollers out there with 50lb weight limits on both seats, but I needed a tandem stroller, not a side by side.

Very happy with the Uppababy Rumbleseat v2
10 June 2022

Excellent quality as expected from Uppababy. This seat works great for adding capacity for a second kid for your Uppababy stroller. There are lots of reviews online that mention that this seat is small - would only note that it is smaller than the standard toddler seat included with the Uppababy stroller, but it is very appropriate for holding a baby up to 35 lbs as recommended by the manufacturer.
