The thing I was most afraid of with an ND filter this cheap was the colour cast that could happen when using it. However, I was extremely happy to find out that the filter had no effeccct on colour, only on light. The images taken with it show no degradation at all, and allow me to experiment with different camera techniques. I highly recommend this filter for anyone who wants a budget friendly ND filter. Thanks, Gobe!

Purchased for my Irix 15mm lens as I wanted a screw on filter just to try as I normally use square filters. Honestly so glad I tried the Gobe filters. No obvious loss of quality in the final images and no colour casting that I could see. Easy to carry around and saves the bulkiness of the square filter system. Great protective carrying tin and each purchase allows you to help plant trees. You won't regret trying these.

Urth is doing filters like the best. I still love B+W for CPL, but for anything else I've found Urth to easily match any of the more expensive bigger names. I think they will soon become a go-to brand for professional filters.

Got this ND filter for a Tamron 16-300 lens on a Nikon D3500. I wanted to take shots where a longer exposure can be used to enhance the effects of motion (such as running water in the frame) Works great when shooting shots in certain situations like with a waterfall or ocean waves on the shore. The ND filter allows the motion to blur in the shot. Definitely need a tripod when using the ND filter. Love the packaging and the fact that Gobe will plant trees with every purchase. Well made glass on the filter, and there appears to be no distortion of problems with the filter. Highly recommended.
I will def purchase a couple more of these filters. I do a lot of portrait work, each picture was shot while the sun was high at 2PM in the afternoon! It brings out the colors that usually would be washed out due to the sun's lighting. I love love love shooting with this filter, I no longer have fear of shooting in the middle of the day with the right set up. I plan to get more and def recommend!
This filter is like having morning light in your pocket. Chuck this on when you want to shoot in that harsher light around midday. It lets you keep your aperture heaps wider for better depth of field, and means you don't need to speed up your shutter as much. Ripper of a filter, will be getting more from Urth. Love the tree planting too β nice.
Great quality and fit with a very nice case, and very happy to support a company trying to make a difference. Will be using URTH for all future filters.
I have 4 Gobe filters and for the cost of them, in my opinion they're up there with the more expensive ones, currently own 77mm ND64, ND1000, CPL and a UV filter for when I do steel wool photography to protect my lens, also got 58mm CPL as well for another lens, quality is good, had no issue with this filter or any of my other ND filters. I've only noticed colour cast (slightly) when exposing for 4 mins or more, would certainly recommend them and if I need any more I'd buy Gobe filters again.
I really do like this filter. Slim and ouzes quality. No colour changes what I would have observed.
On a recent trip to Organ Pipe National Monument in Arizona I used the 62mm Gobe 3-stop ND filter mounted on a Fujifilm X-T1/Fujinon 56mm f1.2 platform in order to operate wide-open at f1.2 in very bright daylight. (Typical exposure settings: ISO-200, 1/3200s, f1.2.) I'm very pleased with the results/bokeh. No noticeable color tint or vignetting.
