The build quality is amazing. It feels premium and solid. I use this cable for my Macbook and surface to connect to a portable monitor. I have had no latency or any issues. It also has the ability to charge while plugged in. Excellent cord that I will gladly recommend. The price is a bit steep for a cable, but if you can afford it, I say go for it!

At first thought, this has to be a scam. After doing much research, I have learned that there is a microprocessor in this cable. It is a key ingredient that allows the increased bandwidth and performance of Thunderbolt 4. It is INDEED very expensive. However, I have seen first hand its' performance upgrade. Key items in my system function much better with this cable. To add, be cautious not to purchase a fake Thunderbolt 4 cable. There are quite a few available online at much lower cost.

This cable is just what you need to connect your Mac to the Mac studio displays. Nothing else consistently worked for me, including three other cables that I ordered online and one that I bought at the local Best Buy. The cables are well-made and work flawlessly between the Mac and the Mac studio monitors. Too bad they are so expensive.
This cord is great. It feels really premium and sturdy. Unlike most cords this one feels like it can last for years. Downloads are blazing fast. The only thing that is a downside is the initial cost. But you wont need to be replacing it every six months to a year.
After watching a technical review of the Apple cable and other brands, I felt the need to try it. My objective was to see if data transfer speeds would improve between external SSD's and my Macbook Pro M1. I am using high speed SSD's (1080Mbps) yet the transfer speeds with my existing cable is about 400-600Mbps. I bought and tried the Apple cable only to find that there is no substantial difference in transfer speed between a basic cable and the Apple cable. So, I will say I spend my money for no worthwhile reason.
Impossible to tell a difference. I was hoping to an audible difference but I heard none compared to other premium usb c / thunderbolt. However the application for this is for the Apple displah
First item sent was not 1.8 meters long even though the return guys says that was the right length. Ok, so returned without issue and got another one. Maybe the first was a mistake. 2nd cord same size. Return person says maybe website was wrong. Gave up returned second cord and bought it at Apple Store instead.
Expensive! Confirmed to work with Macbook Pro M3 Pro for external display without a hub. When it comes to understanding differences between Thunderbolt and/or USB-C Full Functioned do your homework and don't rely on Best Buy Geek Squad, you know best with internet browsing.
