However, after some time I found the vanilla in here to be too sweet. I enjoy sweet fragrances, but it felt as if the vanilla took over the whole scent for some reason. The resemblance to Dior Homme is forced - there are at least two classes of quality difference between the two fragrances. The scent is more for formal occasion, work in an office, well-dressed. It's less suitable for outdoor, hang out with casual style. Good longevity in 6-7h marks and projects great for the first 2h!

I have an extensive collection of Iris fragrances and this one stands incredibly close to the top. If DHI is an Iris Bomb, this is what an Iris Bomb smells like when going on a date. It's seductive, sensual, and masculine in ways that are difficult to fully describe. It's crowd pleasing without smelling like everything else. The performance is great, lasting most of the day and projecting close enough to the body that you'll have your date leaning into your shoulder for another smell.

Intoxicating, luxurious BOLD, this to me was the feeling of getting dressed up to go out for a fancy dinner and then the desert is this super rich gourmet dark chocolate mousse that is expensive but worth every bite. Definitely dark, smooth, warm vanilla and powdery iris. Lasts on my skin or clothes all day from just a tiny spritz, 12+ hours. The packaging is good as well but quite basic. Overall this fragrance is amazing and I prefer it to other iris based scents like Gentleman or Dior Homme

It opens with loads of powdery notes as you would expect from most iris fragrances. I get that lipstick vibe again thanks to iris in it. I wasn’t anticipating that much sweetness from this. The vanilla is extra sweet. So sweet that the leather is not all that noticeable. This is a lovely scent though and performance is above average. Lasts a long time but on my skin i don’t get some crazy projection

Classy and elegant with the perfect mix of edgy. If you’re a fan of Iris and the infamous Dior Homme Intense, Valentino Uomo Intense is a perfectly safe blind buy.The powdery and sweet nature of this scent is more suited towards the colder weather. The leather note is noticeable, which gives it the slight edgy feel for the fragrance making it appeal to the younger audience a bit more. This make an awesome choice for a night out or formal events.Performance is good and longevity is around 8 hours on my skin and way more on my clothes which is amazing.Definitely going to be be buying this again.

The Bomb!

Omg, this is the bomb, an amazing powdery iris scent, that projects well, and lasts for well over 8 hours on my skin. The iris and Vanilla notes within this fragrance is just dreamy. Perfect for Autumn, Winter and Spring months, day, or night wear. This scent is so sexy and seductive, it is now my go fragrance for date nights or Netflix and chill evenings. If you enjoyed the scent of Dior Homme Intense you will absolutely love this. I will if it is readily available always have a bottle of Valentino Uomo Intense in my collection. A solid 10/10 from me.

I like the scent but bottle is NOT as described. It doesn't look exactly how it does in the photos of their website. I called Nordstrom in regards to this matter and couldn't do anything. If the product was upgraded in any way shape or form. Then it's their responsibility to update their photos as well. This is false advertisment and deceiving customers. This was my first and last purchase with them. I'll take my money else where. I should've at least be given a voucher or something for a future purchase. Something to keep me happy and most importantly... Keep me as a customer.
