I use this item on my hobby items 1/64 scale semi-trucks and trailers. It works extremely well to preserve the paint and bring the decals to life. It is very easy to work with and a snap to clean up after. I have tried many products, this is the best one I have found.
Very reasonably priced and works just as well as Liquidtex brand! I bought a little bottle to try and have already purchased a larger size. The satin finish is a good 'in-between' matt/gloss finish.
I love this Gloss Varnish. It's great for coating a model for protection and prior to using washes and inks to darken the recesses of detailed models. It's also great to add after the painting is done in order to make some details look wet like the eyes, blood & gore, and wet surfaces in general.
