Having hand-painted a set of resin chess pieces in Vellejo polyurethane acrylic primer and paints, I wished to add two protective layers of varnish. It seemed sense to choose the same brand, and options of finish were available. The product was, along with the primer and coloured paints, a pleasure to use; also their being water soluble made cleaning of brushes etc simple. A slight foaming of the varnish when worked into intricate areas was easily brushed away, and I wiped this small amount of foam off the brush onto a paper towel. The product dries quickly, and the two 'satin' coats I chose gave the desired result. A little goes a long way, and my 200ml will last me for many projects.
The best finnish for me, easy to spray, no odors. Easy to clean. Happy with it.
