Vanish Gold Oxi Stain Remover White Powder 470g

Now, obviously the lighting is different in the photos of my review, which make this product look absolutely phenomenal. Getting that out of the way though, you can see in spite of the warmth from overhead light in before photo, that this duvet cover was still quite dingy. In the after photo, taken in natural light, it looks much brighter, and indeed the duvet cover IS much brighter! This product worked a wonder. It didn’t remove the stain entirely, but has faded it. The white on the bottom of the duvet is much nearer to the shade of white on the top of the duvet. All I did was add 1/3 scoop to the wash and presto, much brighter. My favourite part about this product has to definitely be how well it works, for example if you have a tough stain on your clothes, when you add the product in with the wash, it removes the stain instantly! Cupboard essential!

I loved being able to try out vanish to review. I also really liked that it had instructions on the back, advising that it’s a multi use product & it came with the little scoop. Love a multi use product!I use non bio a lot of the time, so I don’t always feel like it’s cleaning & everything’s a bit dull looking. So adding this into my washing, feels like i given it a power up! Like extra cleaning, care and powers gone into the machine. I’ve definitely noticed that my whites are brighter, my colours are more vibrant, stains have reduced and my clothes feel cleaner. I would definitely recommend this product and the entire brand.

Good for stubborn stains

I tried the product on 2 clothing items, a hoodie with a very stubborn curry stain on the front, nothing I've tried has helped, and second was a white polo shirt with rust stains. I made a solution of the product and retreated the stains before wash. As you can see in the before and after photos the curry stain on the hoodie has cleared up to almost 98%. I think a second treatment before next wash would completely remove it. The rust stains on the white polo still the same unfortunately! The product it self smells amazing, nothing like chemicals, it's quite pleasant and the scoop very useful to measure. The verdict: I think it's a useful product to have around the house for a variety of stubborn stains on coloured fabrics except maybe rust stains.

It really works on stubborn stains

Thanks to Influenster I have used this product in 4 wash cycles this is amazing it removes stains such as tomato and cheese easily. I found it works even better on tougher statins such as mud, red wine etc when I soak the clothes in it for at least half an hour before washing. My personal choice is to place the powder directly in the washing machine drum. It does come with clear instructions which are easy to follow. So far the results on our coloured clothes have been impressive, with no colour transfer or lingering odours. This product is safe on fabrics such as cotton and polyester. This is a laundry booster that has become a essential item in my washing routine would highly recommend.

My go to for stain removal

New addition to the laundry routine

This is my first time using Vanish laundry booster. I tried a few different ways of using it - soaking and adding it during the wash. I had high hopes that it would remove the damp smell from a few items that got ruined by damp (leaving clothes in the washing machine for too long). After soaking and washing, the smell is still there. I also had a white t-shirt with a tiny coffee spot, which I do realise is probably impossible to remove. Unfortunately didn’t help either. I am not giving up though, and I think overall the product can be helpful to prolong the life of clothes and remove some types of stains. Will keep using it in my laundry routine.

Tough on stains

It's a wonderful product especially for my whites. My husband has white uniform and kids as well. It's always with brown stain, pen marks, colours, it's been very challenging to get those staines of the whites. After switching to vanish my life is now much easier. I soak the dresses with a scoop of vanish and when washing I add another scoop for washing and my whites come out neat clean and white. On other clothes as well the staines were washed easily.It not only did its job with my laundry but also cleaned the stain on my sofa. It was a stain which was there for a while I used a little of vanish gold and its all gone now. Very happy with the results.

Vanish Oxi Action powder

Vanish is not a new product for me. I usually use the spray what I spray on stains prior washing. This time I have tried Vanish Oxi Action powder. Very easy to use - just put one measurement into your wash. I was not really surprised with results. Stain free clothes. It is very baby friendly and I must say the best option for my child’s bibs. It is chlorine bleach free and wash nicely on 30 degree wash too. Colour was not transferred on material. This remove all the odour from clothing and leave nice fresh scent. One package goes very long way. Amazing results and very good value for money. I definitely recommend

Vanish??? It certainly does!!!

Vanish Gold Oxi Advance Stain Remover Powder has been a staple product in our household for a considerable amount of time. Why? I hear you ask, well put simply their really is no comparison to the wonders of Vanish on a hot or cold wash. No matter the stain, you can easily do pretreatment or just putting it straight into drawer of you washing machine. The Vanish Oxi Gold will get to work straight away as low as 20°c. Your washing comes out free of stains and as fresh as a daisy. Yes we have tried other brands of stain removal powders but we still have not found anything that can compete against the Vanish Oxi Gold. You absolutely cannot go wrong using Vanish Oxi Gold in your wash.
