Simple, timeless style. Top quality as I am used to from my previous Vans. I still don't understand how some manage to get the canvas to come off the rubber sole as it seems to be known. Never had that before. Falls out a bit larger, but otherwise a good shoe that can also be kept clean well with a little care!

With this shoe began with me the Vans Authentic fever. If I needed new shoes, it was only a question of color, which one I would take. One thing was clear to me: A Vans Authentic it will be and I continue to be a loyal wearer of the Authentic, even if I prefer to wear others for colder days, because the fabric is quite thin.

Really stylish shoe but not suitable for skating! When pulling the foot over the grip tape, the fabric is totally broken quickly. Also the aht is already broken after 2 weeks LAUFEN (!!!). Who wants to have the shoe anyway should order the same Shoe Goop.

Nice grip, I don't wear them to stake. I am flat-footed. They are easy for this girl to wear. Plus I have worn Vans since I was about 8 or 9 years old. They are a no worries just rag out the type of shoe. The shoe is a don't give a care how you wear type. Super comfortable.

When you want a sleek, low profile shoe, then you have to go with the authentic vans. That classic white and black looks is great with whatever style clothes you have on. Comfortable enough to walk around at an amusement park but definitely would going hiking off a trail with them. These are always my go to shoe when I think of vans shoes.

Im a huge fan of the model, I have 6 pairs (those pictured, also black suede light and leopard print). I have US8,5 size and they don’t visually make my feet bigger as it may happen with some sneakers. I have very thin skin and all shoes are giving me bloody blisters immediately on heel part but these shoes almost never. I love that they could be worn with literally any style - dresses, shirts, skirts, even classic blouses. If I was told to wear one type of shoes for the rest of my life - it would deffo be Vans authentic.

Awful sent wrong size!

Everyone… I read the reviews on these vans like 30 times before I ordered because every review said it’s mens sizing so I ordered my size in mens. It’s wrong. It’s not unisex. They sent me womens sizes and I reached out to asos and they pretty much said too bad. They need to be more clear on the description of what the sizing is because vans are unisex and if it doesn’t say mens or womens sizing how does anyone know what’s the correct size to get? Do better asos.

Best warm weather shoes for everyday errands

The best, most stylish basic piece of footwear I’ve ever owned. It goes with jeans and shorts and it’s just the best for days in the park or dancing the night away at a summer music festival. They are sturdy, easy to clean and simply show the perfect amount of ankle. Also amazing for skating. True to size, 100% recommend.

I wouldn't buy these again.

I have bought Atwoods in the past. They were great. Well made. I went on to the Vans site and there are NO atwoods. Discontinued I guess. So I bought some Eras and Authentics... they look kind of similar to Atwoods. No. These are flimsy shoes. Especially the authentics. Never again. If I buy Vans again it will have to be Eras, they are slightly better, but I will be on the look out for old stocks of Atwoods, they were the best.

These shoes are fabulous!! The fabric is great and you can easily wash them and they don't shrink. or fade. I do look after my shoes, though but I don't think everyone does. I got these at a pretty good price and it pays to shop around. The only problem I have with Vans is, it is hard to get my right size as I am a Half sized person. I am size 9 in Mens and Womens is too small so I could do with a half size but they are very rare.
