I love these sneakers. I have been wearing the black slip ons for years and wanted to try these for a change. The natural toned rubber is really nice, and the gold eyelets are a really nice detail. The fit is pretty much exactly the same as the slip on, but the toe box is a tiny bit narrower.

These shoes are the best! No breaking them in and they make your feet look small. Lightweight and comfy. Simple and elegant.I have white and now the black with white soles. My favorite sneakers, low key looking.True to size and even if you go half size larger, that works too.

I mountain bike in these, and they are great if you like flat pedals. They are thin enough so you can feel the pedals, but durable enough to be supportive. they do wear out pretty quick if you are an every day wearer. I think I am on my 10th pair of the black with the laces. They look good with everything, and are super comfortable for how minimal they are. However if you need your arches supported more, I would look at other models they make.

Classic shoe, goes with everything from jeans to leggings to shorts to rompers. I like the fact that it is versatile and I am not limited to wearing it with just shorts, I wore these shoes last weekend with a dress and I got so many compliments on how cute they looked. I don't think the Vans Authentic will ever go out of style. I remember wearing these in junior high and loving each time I got a new pair or new style! I love my Vans!
Completely satisfied with this purchase. I bought the navy/gum sole and I love the versatility of how they look. Vans are the perfect casual shoe, and can be worn in multiple situations.Shipping was fast as usual and I know I will get my wear out of these bad boys.
Thanks to the Nordstrom reviewers who convinced me to try these shoes. They look cute with lots of different outfits. I stand a lot at a counter all day, and I'm lucky that these are ok dress code-wise to wear to work. I ordered them in black, and after trying them for a day immediately ordered the lighter color for spring. They are roomy for my narrow foot, but that's the beauty of the laces. I usually wear 7 1/2 but normally size up to 8 in a sneaker, but the 7 1/2 suits me perfectly. True, they don't have a boatload of arch support, but I can wear them quite a while without feeling uncomfortable. Last weekend I wore them travelling and walking in Washington D.C. and didn't regret it.
I purchased the blue velvet! OMG! So fabulous! I absolutely love them. The color is a midnight blue, it almost looks black, until you see the blue sheen. I'm in between 8.5 and 9. I have a pair in size 8.5 which felt great but after a lot of walking, I realized I should have gone with a size 9. So, this time I did. I purchased the 9 and perfect. Maybe my foot grew? I don't know.
The addition of the gum bottoms looks great. Plenty of compliments when i wear them. I have the black, marshmallow, and midnight blue pairs and they all look great. Fit is true to size. Fairly comfortable for casual wear. Easy to clean.
They are the second shoes that I buy because of how comfortable the first shoes were and how long they lasted. I usually wear between 40 and 40.5 in sneakers / trainers, and I think I remember the last one I ordered was 40.5. However this time my size is 40. I recommend them without hesitation, 100%. Regarding this store, they have good prices and I have received the package earlier than expected, although it is true that I had problems with the first order, perhaps due to the consequences of the covid, so I will not take it into account for the future. Recommended page, with quality products at reduced prices. I will buy again for sure!
Sorry to report I returned these.I rarely order casual shoes on line; however, I really liked the look of these shoes.Unfortunately they were too wide for my foot. My sister thought the width was about right.She just did not want them, or I would have given them to her.
