I’ve never ordered from ASOS before, so I was a bit nervous about the purchase, but I’m so glad I ordered from them!I purchased these shoes with 3 day express shipping. They arrived on time and in perfect condition!I got them at an awesome discount, and I couldn’t be happier.The shoes came in the original Vans box (which I was worried about just because of how inexpensive I got these) and they were the perfect gift for my brother.They arrived on the date expected, and I couldn’t have got them any cheaper elsewhere!Thank you!

In my opinion the classic white vans are the most durable fashion forward shoe in today's fashion industry. I ordered my very first pair of vans several years ago thinking that the shoes wouldn't be comfortable maybe wear a time or two they will tear up and take up more room in my closet like all the other brands of white slip on shoes I've tried. I also thought they would fall out of style as quickly as they came in, boy was I wrong.! When I went to the store to purchase these checkered vans for my birthday the lady who worked at nordstom was so helpful she knew exactly what she was doing and was patient as I still hadn't decided if I wanted the checkered ones or the plain white ones. She also helped me find the perfect size. The shoes are also great. Great quality! I have had mine for quite a while now and they are still in great condition. I love them! What was also great is that usually when I get my vans from the vans store I don't get fit properly and they end up stretching out overtime and no longer fit correctly. Love these vans slip ons. So comfy and easy to wear. I have a size 5 and quite narrow feet. These were a little loose on me and not as comfortable of a fit. I had to use insoles so they were more snug of a fit. After adding insoles they are perfect. Just an fyi to anyone with narrow sized feet that fit ‘in between’ sizes.

To give the shoes the benefit of the doubt, I purchased some replacement insoles to replace the worn out one. Unfortunately, when I pulled out the insole that came with the shoe, I saw what was causing the issue. I have been wearing Vans for 10+ years and this is the first pair I have really not been impressed with. They started falling apart (see picture!) after 8 weeks and I usually buy a pair yearly. I usually buy the classic black slip on platform but Vans seem to have discontinued these, hence why I bought this pair which is chunkier! I think they’re too chunky and that’s why they broke where they did, it’s the like chunk is too big/strong for the material/glue. They’re also quite big - I don’t know if my feet have shrunk but I’ve started having to go down a size in Vans and haven’t had to usually

I left them on my floor to dry but a few hours later when I went to check on them, I noticed awful orange and yellow streaks/spots all over the shoe. The next day, I went back to my Vans store and was able to get them exchanged for another pair. I also bought the Vans shoe cleaning kit under the advisement of the store manager to ensure something like this wouldn't happen again. Purchased on here after trying to purchase on the Vans site - which had no sales going on, didn't have much stock/variety and they randomly cancelled my order two days later with no apology or compensation, they just didn't "realize" they were sold out. So luckily I found what I was looking for here. Back to the colors...the thyme green I would say is a dark grayish green, but it's a cool color. The bronze however looked more of a neutral-tan/ orangey/light brown color in the photo, which was what I was hoping for, but it is actually a dark gold with sparkles, so that surprised me. I never go by the names because Vans can call it whatever they want and it doesn't always make sense to me, but I'd say the photo was definitely a little off and I would have preferred something with no sparkle. However, I didn't want to go through sending it back and gold is still kind of a neutral that I'm sure I'll wear. It just looks dark brown from far away and you have to look close or hit the right lighting for the sparkle. Overall I know I'll be happy once I break them in. Would rather purchase from here from now on than Vans.
I bought these shoes for my Vans-loving son. He usually gets them in the black on black, but he saw the royal blue ones and really liked them. The fact that they were on sale was a huge bonus. I probably wouldn't have bought them if they weren't. The quality seems really good and the fit seems true. And they come in such a wide range of colors. He kept going between the royal blue and black on black ones, which he has worn to shreds! He loves them and we will definitely buy them again!
Exactly as described. They’re not the white and black as many presume. They are the classic cream and white. I usually go for half a size bigger in vans but risked the 5 After reading others reviews. They are perfect! Expect them to stretch so go for your true size. These haven’t rubbed yet either, as some have stated in their reviews. Maybe it’s just my feet that are absolute trotters haha! Definitely recommend!
