I was so excited to receive these as a gift I asked for for Christmas. I'm highly disappointed in the fact that the canvas "white" is very much a cream color while the stacked sole is pure white. I don't like the color difference at all. I also got a pair of purple and white regular checkered and they are pure white with pure white. I expected white and black to mean white, not cream... The canvas looks dingy compared to the nice white of the sole.

I'm really grateful that I can still buy vans and the fit hasn't changed. These are the only consistent shoes in my life. I put my shoes through a lot as I work in a production environment, am a parent so am constantly on adventures with the littles, and don't have time or energy to "baby" my shoes. My old vans were always on a skateboard, or walking to and from school, or climbing fences. These new vans may have different adventures, but they still hold up. Gotta love the classics!

I have been wearing Vans for 10+ years and this is the first pair I have really not been impressed with. They started falling apart (see picture!) after 8 weeks and I usually buy a pair yearly. I usually buy the classic black slip on platform but Vans seem to have discontinued these, hence why I bought this pair which is chunkier! I think they’re too chunky and that’s why they broke where they did, it’s the like chunk is too big/strong for the material/glue. They’re also quite big - I don’t know if my feet have shrunk but I’ve started having to go down a size in Vans and haven’t had to usually
I love the checkered platform. It's pretty much all I wear anymore. This will be my 4th or 5th pair, and I usually pick them up during a 30% off sale. Even if I don't need a new pair immediately, I will eventually wear out the ones I wear daily. My one complaint is that the canvas started to pull away from the rubber where my shoe flexes while walking. This happens on each pair I have. It would be nice if that area were extra re-enforced.
I love these shoes! I wore my first pair way down. I even had a warranty issues which was easy to deal with when I reached out to Vans. I decided to get another pair because 30% off is a great deal! These get more comfortable over time. I love to slight height increase, and the classic black and white check pattern. I wear these most days, and with most outfits. A favorite to be sure!
I am obsessed with these shoes! The platforms are so cute and they elevate the classic checkerboard to a whole new level! One thing I will say though is that they do run big. I typically wear a women's 7 and in most Vans I usually wear a women's 6.5. However, on this particular shoe I had to size down to the a women's 6 because the 6.5 was too big & my heal kept slipping out. I think it might be from the weight of the platform. The women's 6 is perfect though and they are the cutest shoes of the summer!
I was thrilled to finally be able to purchase the Stackform Vans as I wear the slip ons religiously. I bought them in my size, 8, like all my others and they slip right off my heels when I walk. Socks, no socks, inserts, no inserts. Total fail. I'm trying to decide if I should try a half size smaller....afraid they will be too narrow then as the 8 already seemed more narrow than the regular slip on Vans. Very disappointing....hope they fix this problem.

When these stackforms came out I was obsessed and immediately bought a pair. They are so cute and I love the extra lift. Buuutttt......These do not fit me like the platforms do. The girl at the store told me they run more narrow, but I don't really have wide feet so I went ahead and bought them. They are MUCH more narrow and I developed some serious callouses on my toes and my feet were absolutely aching. I had to just throw them away so I'd stop wearing them and punishing my feet. I went back to my platforms and they fit like a glove.
