If you typically size down with Vans continue doing that with these! They run a bit big and hurt your heels if you don't get your right size. I purchased in Rose, very pretty but the quality of the shoe is not that great. The laces are cheap. The first time I creased the shoes bending over it left a big crease marked in the fabric, and you could tell the rubber will break fairly quickly. Bearing everything I mentioned above in mind, I would only recommend these because they go with everything.

VANS DOHENY SNEAKERSThis is my very first pair of VANS. I looked into them because I needed a pair of black soled, black upper casual sneakers. These fit the bill perfectly. If I need to take off my heels at work or change my shoes due to weather conditions these serve the needed purpose. I usually wear a size8 but the 8 was too tight and there weren’t any 8.5s available in store. I got the 9 which is a little loose. ALSO, I WISH THEY HAD THE EXTRA SET OF EYELETS FEATURED ON SOME OF THE OTHER STYLES OF VANS.

Bought these on a whim! LOVE them. True to size and I have wide feet and these fit comfortably (and don't look too snug). I haven't worn them yet for long periods of time, but for errands and walks with the dog, they are comfy. I did buy Scotchgarde because I didn't read the fine print to see that these are canvas and not leather/pleather. But they're very cute!

I bought my first pair in April for traveling. I loved them so much that I bought a second pair, just in case they were discontinued. They look great with jeans or black pants. They are comfortable, with plenty of room for toes to wiggle. The price is reasonable. With simple, unadorned lines they can pass for nice casual dress. They do run slightly large, so you might want to order 1/2 a size down. A classic shoe for many different ages, whether or not you skateboard.
I really wanted these as the soles are black, I ordered my usual size 5, but they were way too small. As plimsolls go, they are quite dainty - I know the word is old fashioned, but they really are rather more canvas shoes than trainers, not having padded linings etc. and are quite light in weight.
Bought these about 2 weeks ago they are great addition to my shoe collection. These are comfortable to walk around in all day. I use them for day to day and work. My job is a more casual vibe so i can wear these and be comfortable while still looking professional i can dress these up a bit.
I had been looking at this Van's sneaker for months; finally decided to purchase and am so happy with them! Besides being cute for casual dresses, jeans and shorts, they have proven to be very comfortable - I was afraid they would not be. I own several pairs of Converse and I find them uncomfortable for long periods, yet I can wear my Van's for the same time period and my feet are fine. I wore them for 6 hours my first day; no problem. They run true to size, IMO. My feet tend to be slightly narrow and these work for me where others don't - might be due to the laces since I can tighten the shoe. Now I want to purchase them in black.
New shoes for the kiddos! Teen desired these, being a mom who knows white gets dirty immediately I tried to convince her otherwise. Picked my battles, bought the shoes. She loves them, fit is perfect, and after 45minutes they were dirty. Will this lesson be learned? Doubtful. Thankfully sharpies allow for some fun redesigns when she gives up trying to keep them perfect. Whatever. I did my job.
I needed something to wear to work. I work in a retail environment and I need something very comfortable. These are the great. They look nice with what I wear and I will probably buy another pair if I continue to work. Thank you very much.I wear size 8 1/2 and I got an 8 1/2 and they fit wonderfully. They are very comfortable after nine hours of work my feet still feel fine
These are uncomfortable- they push down on my big toe, squish my little outer toes, and when I walk they bend and the hard crease puts a lot of downward pressure across the tops of my foot. The upper is very stiff and scrapes my heels. They are also really heavy. I don't think it would be worth the agony to try to break these in so I have to send them back. (Also- I bought these to replace an old pair of Vans and these are different- more clunky, less sleek. Buyer beware that there are two very similar-looking styles of Vans that look almost indistinguishable online.)
