So glad I was able to get these in the right size! I initially ordered them in a size 8, as my boyfriend runs between a 7.5-8 and wears an 8 in Macbeth, DC, Cr8rec, and Nike. However, the 8s were way too big--as if he were wearing flippers. Nordy was sold out of the 7.5 for a while, but I'm happy that more finally came in stock. The shoes are a canvas material (they look gray from afar but are actually a black-and-white textile up close), with a leather reinforcement on the inner ankle area. Very comfortable with good cushioning.

Love the green color. I usually go 1/2 size up for sneakers and they fit perfect. Wish there was a little more padding.
Needed to convince a teenager he needed an alternate pair of shoes for nice shorts and these fit the bill perfectly. Fit is TTS as he ordered same sizing as he would in an athletic shoe. They look great on and provide a nice alternative to running shoes with dressier shorts.
My son went to a Vans store and they were out of this particular color in his size at both of their locations (Locally) and the manager wasn't too helpful and said this was a discontinued item and they didn't even have them available online anymore. Well, it was right around the corner from my sons birthday and he REALLY wanted these in THIS color, so I did an internet search and found them IN HIS SIZE and COLOR for $15.00 less at Tillys than what they were at the Vans Store! Love the color. I thought they were that velvety material all around but they’re regular old skool Vans. I wore them to a concert and didn’t have a problem or blisters.
