I had bought these shoes only a month ago and from wearing them 3 times the souls are starting to peel. I just got them broke in and now they are getting broken.... Other have seemed to have the same problems with other shoes as well, shame on you Vans. I love my old ones but these simply are not cutting it!

Went looking for a pair of Half Cabs for my son. The guy at the store could have sold us the more expensive non-pro model as they didn't have any pros in the right size, but organised for us to be shipped the pro pair my son was after in the right size that was also on sale. Arrived a couple of days later at my door and my son is stoked!

Easily my favorite shoe style. They're surprisingly easy to get on as a mid shoe, their size makes them feel roomy and they're shockingly comfortable. They also have lasted me a while now despite working in them so often. I just love the red too, it gives a fun edge to a lot of my outfits and I like wearing them even outside of work contexts
I got these to wear at work and when lifting weights. I've had three pairs of Vans of various types before these and I always had trouble with blisters on the back of my heels. These don't cause that at all. They have pretty good ankle support and the shock absorption is great on concrete/pavement, plus solid traction in the rain. All in all I'm really happy.
The tongues on these shoes are very thick and tall. Not like the several other color ways I have had over the last couple years. The laces barely fit due to the tongue puffiness. They are uncomfortable due to how high the tongue sticks up above the shoe. 2 days of wearing/skating in them so far has not been and good as the other Half Cab's I have had. Really disappointed in this pair.
I believe this is the fourth or fifth pair of vans in a couple months. obviously I like them. Unfortunately the 10.5 that has previously worked perfectly, is too narrow on the halfcab. 11 will be too long. Otherwise very cool shoe
Love half cabs, always been my go to skate shoe froms vans, love the padding in the ankles and am a huge fan of when they have models with puffier tongues. Just picked up the light blue and white pair which I haven't seen on the website yet, but they are super sick (probably gonna get dirty super quick though lol).PLEASE TO ALL THE PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT THEM SPLITTING, UNTIE YOUR SHOES!!! IF YOU WANT THE CONVIENCE OF SLIPPING THEM ON, JUST BUY THE SKATE SLIP ONS, THEY ARE TEARING BECAUSE YOU'RE JUST LAZY!!!
Left and Right shoes are not symmetrical/even. The upper is sewn crooked on the left one. The tags on the back are also crooked. Just sloppy quality these days.
I couldn't exchange for the next available size. The pop cush insole is massive! If the next size happens to be longer but with the same narrow dimensions... Id consider a different model entirely.I have a handful of different vans and I felt a problem immediately after getting the new pair on.
