Got these in the beige-pink color for my teenage daughter. So very cute! She loves them and has gotten tons of compliments - that color is very on trend right now for girls. They were fairly easy to break in, just one small blister, but she walked 1 & 1/2 miles home from school in them the first day she wore them! They've also held up pretty well -- they've managed to stay pretty clean even with all the wear they're getting.The salesperson said they run big, but I found them pretty true to size. Maybe a little wide, which worked well for my daughter's feet.

I told her to read the online posts to see if there were comments regarding size or width, as surely if there was a caveat, there would be repeated posts addressing it. She did and the posts stated that they were 'true to size' so I ordered the 10s. She loves them! (Many thanks for those who take time to write in comments--it does help!) She tried them on for me so that I could see them....they are adorable! The fit was perfect and very cute on her feet. She said that they were super comfortable. I order the classic black and white vans size 10 width M. I was very pleased with my order. In that, my order was delivered within less than a week and when the item came it was exactly what was shown and exactly what I ordered. The item fits comfortably and I wore it the next day and walked around in it all day and I must say I had no complains. The sole is well cushioned and it felt like I had Dr scholl inside the shoe. The price was reasonable as well. When compared to the price on the Vans website this was actually $5 cheaper so even better. I’ve always wanted vans and I’m extremely happy I found them on Nordstrom. I love Nordstrom.

I love Vans Old School style. I was so glad I got my size 8 in blue color before they sold out!! I already had a black and a tan pair . Love that their is no break in period and so comfortable. Alsways get a pair for myself and daughter so we have our own, since we wear the same size. Want more colors. I missed the burgundy ones darn!! we both wear a narrow medium so getting a size 8 seems to work. I think they run a half size big, but try them on to make sure. They do stretch also for wider feet!!
I love these shoes! This is my second pair of the Old Skool Sneakers! I purchased the True White style in size 7 and it goes with nearly every outfit that I wear. I prefer these to the white Converse! I live in these shoes every day -they are so incredibly comfortable. I'm in my late 20's and don't feel like a teenager whenever I slip these on- they are truly a classic style. I even wear them to work (I work in an office with a casual dress code). My only wish is that they had the Vans logo on the tongue like in the other styles (I own a pair of these in olive green suede). If you're thinking about purchasing these - just do it! You won't regret it!
The Vans sneakers in true white are a classic !! They will not go out of style and will always be cool. You can’t go wrong with these sneakers !! They are very comfortable and reasonably priced. I recently saw them on a very stylish website styled with very expensive casual clothes and they looked absolutely perfect with the pricey designer clothes !! Win , win !! Buy them before they are gone !!
I got these in the Black first and then during the anniversary sale got the red suede pair. First of all I am not a sneaker person but these sneakers converted me. I am a size eight and have a etremely high arch so I need a wider shoe to make it fit right. Vans are made for me they are by far the most comfortable shoes I own and I dare to wear them to work as well with business attire! Love them and getting the white one next and the. The pink! I highly recommend these.
I wasn’t sure about sizing since I previously owned Vans Authentic and had to go a half size down. I wear a women’s 7.5 in almost all my shoes, (ie Converse Chucks) but occasionally I need to go down to a 7, which I did for my Vans Authentic since 7.5 was too loose. I read many reviews for the Old Skool and some said size up, some size down, others true to size. Since it was pretty confusing I decided to just go with what I got before in Vans and got a size 7 women’s. While the 7 does fit, they are a bit tight and uncomfortable. My toes have zero wiggle room, which is a most for me, as I hate my foot feeling cramped. I’ll be returning for a 7.5 since I love the shoes otherwise!
Today I wore them for my first time and immediately I noticed that they were two different shades of white and one shoe looked “dirty”. I unfortunately didn’t notice while I was indoors, but in the sunlight it was so apparent. My family was asking me if I mix matched two different shoes. The rubber was grayish and the canvas was more of yellow tone on the right shoe. I wish I would have taken a photo, but it’s currently soaking in bleach. I hope this works. Definitely not buying shoes from Nordstrom online ever again.
I'm so glad I took a chance and ordered these. I have narrow feet (size 8.5) and most sneakers like this are too wide (like the Superga Cotu - ugh!). For running shoes, and some boots, I typically size up to a 9. I ordered these in my typical shoe size, 8.5 and they work! On my bigger foot, my toe is close to the edge, but it doesn't bother me. They are incredibly comfortable and don't feel or look too wide. I lace up to the top holes which creates a firm fit on the top of my foot. I have them in the black with the white stripe and now I want to get them in more colors. What a great find!
